It covers up to 36 sq. ft., 6' x 6' area and made of high density EVA foam 10mm, 3/8 inch thick. The letters and numbers do pop out of the tiles. This item is not recommended for use on carpets. For ages 3 and older.

Good product, but I wish it came with a case. March 10, 2010

This is a great product for babies who are just beginning to crawl and roll around. The mats were exactly what I expected and offered more cushion than some of the other reviews seem to indicate. My only issue is that I wish the mats came with a case so that we could disassemble and store the pieces away when not in use.

A nice product that keeps little ones from bonking on hard floors. Only downside is that there are LOTS of pieces to have to "work" back together when it's disassembled, and the material "dents" rather that exhibiting a more "rubber-like" behavior. All-in-all, good value for the money and a fun and educational product for tykes 'n' toddlers.

Very nice and useful for infants that just started to stand up (6+ months.) But the only thing you should not put it in the middle of the room where your baby will soon by strolling with its walker cause it will block them. But if you have tiles or hardwood floors, ITS A MUST!

This mat is wonderful. Not only for kids, but for adults as well. you dont need to buy a separate yoga mat! this size is huge! takes up almost the whole room. I bought it for my kids! they are always falling onto the floor, and this is major protection for them. Especially to prevent them from braking any teeth while they fall down, while they play, jump and dance around.

I had just bought these mats from [...] I needed a lot for a big space and they had the most for the best price and also free shipping. I love the mats for my 11mnth old baby girl. the only problem is we have two dogs and they scratch up the mat with there paws. I wish it was a little more durable in that matter. but other then that I love them. My daughter does take the numbers out and the border for the large rooms but its no problem just slapping them back in place
