Amazon.com Product Description
Keep your child safe and secure in the car with the Triumph Advance LX, Harbortown from Evenflo. Designed for children two to 35 pounds in rear facing, and 20 to 50 pounds and up to 50 inches tall in forward facing, this convertible car seat allows your child to stay in a 5-point harness over a year longer than traditional car seats with a 40-pound rating, which helps keep your child safer as he grows.

The Evenflo Triumph Advance LX car seat offers:
  • Forty-pound rating.
  • Easy harness adjustment thanks to InfiniteSlide system.
  • Multi-position recline for extra comfort and flexibility.

The InfiniteSlide harness lets you easily adjust the harness.
Infinite Slide Harness Adjustment
The Harbortown meets or exceeds all U.S. safety standards, making it a smart, reliable choice. One of its key safety features is the InfiniteSlide harness system which allows you to change the harness height by simply sliding the red tabs up and down. This system also does not require re-threading, saving you time and decreasing the chance of improper positioning. Additionally, the 5-point harness easily tightens with a quick turn on the TensionRight knobs on each side of the seat.

Proper Positioning for a Safe, Comfortable Ride
Proper positioning of your child in the car seat is extremely important, not only for his or her comfort, but also to ensure optimum safety and protection. That's why the Harbortown has a multi-position recline and removable body pillows to surround baby in soft support. Two buckle straps accommodate growing children by being easy to adjust, and the EPP foam liner helps absorb energy to maintain proper positioning in the case of sudden or jarring movement.

There's even a removable, flip-down cup holder to hold your child's favorite drink in a convenient location that they can easily access. This holder also folds out of the way when not in use. The Harbortown also offers perks for parents, including a machine washable pad that's a snap to remove and clean. Easy to install and adjust, the Harbortown features a parent-friendly design that's durable, reliable and, most importantly, safe.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   December 2, 2008
Lisanne Anderson (Sequim, WA)
I love the seat and so does my daughter. I've read reviews that say they can't see their child because of the protective wings, but with my rear view and baby mirrors, I don't any problem seeing mine. It seems a little harder to use than I've read in some reviews, but I haven't been using it long. After 3 kids and a total of 6 car seats, I've realized that they all get a lot easier to use through experience. I do like that the straps adjust so easily for her height and she looks very comfy. This is my 3rd Evenflo convertible and I'd buy more. Fedex shipped my product and (as always it seems) they damaged the box, had to ship it in thier own, and were late. If you can - have your company ship UPS.

5 out of 5 stars Great Carseat!   November 22, 2008

This carseat was so much easier to install than others I've tried before. It is VERY comfortable for our son and very safe! We love it!

4 out of 5 stars still going!   November 17, 2008
heather (Ypsilanti, MI)
My son outgrew his infant seat at 5 months, so in the summer of 2005 we bought two of these Triumph seats (one for each car). They're still going strong. My son still uses them, but we'll move him into an appropriate booster this winter when he turns 4.

My only real beef with these is that the fabric has faded and worn through in some spots. They're easy to install and easy to adjust. In fact, they're a little TOO easy to adjust. Every now and then I'll try to put the boy in his seat and be unable to clip him in, which is when I ask "have you been playing with the knobs again?" The answer is always "yes mommy."

I drive a Subaru, my husband has an Impala, and the seat fits well in both cars. We've taken it on planes (big and bulky, but fit just fine) and installed it into rental cars. It's always performed well, and our son likes that the seat sits high so he can see out the windows. I'm looking for a snazzy seat cover to freshen them up but anticipate getting another couple of years out of them. We had another baby this year and she'll be needing to move to the big seat sometime this winter. Hopefully her brother won't mind!

5 out of 5 stars Awesome car seat   November 3, 2008
Brandi Couch (Texas)
So far this car seat has been easy to use and my daughter rides in it very well. It fits nicely in our vehicle and we love the color.

1 out of 5 stars Too Big and not comfortable   October 29, 2008
LM
Do yourself a favor and get the Britax Marathon instead. The Evenflo is big, bulky, heavy and apparently not comfortable for my 9 month old. He could not fall asleep in it, His head would always fall forward. I bought the Britax Marathon for our second car and love it. Considering donating/selling the Evenflo and getting another Marathon. The marathon is much lighter, very easy to get my baby in/out with the straps and he falls asleep, head looks comfy!
