Product Description Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteries, not included. Gym measures 20" x 32.5" x 32.5".

MONEY WELL SPENT! December 2, 2008 Kim (Texas) We should have bought this way before we did! Our son was about 4 months when we got it, but really we could've used it a lot sooner. It allowed me to USE THE BATHROOM during the day without him crying... the lights and music stimulated him great. It wasn't hard to assemble BUT we lost the instructions and now that our son is 8 mts old and isn't a lay-on-his-back-only baby, we can't figure out how to DISassmble it... so it's a bit bulky. Oh well! A great product we will be using someday w/baby #2.
Great Buy December 2, 2008 Karen Bay (USA) This play gym is a great purchase. My 2 month old son loves laying in it and batting (or trying to bat) the toys. He also enjoys tummy time with this gym. It is extremely well made, the (many!) toys are adorable, and I can see this gym lasting for a long time. I did find it to be a bit pricy, but it seems to be in the same range as most of the similar play gyms. I definitely recommend this product.
good & fun November 23, 2008 H.K. (USA) only reason for not giving a full five stars is i had expected the butterflies to move (part of a mobile). for the price FischerPrice charges for this gym, it should be possible to add a small motor to make the butterflies move. other then that, everything about the gym is good and the baby is having lots of fun.
Very Entertaining!! November 22, 2008 Mercedes Johnmeyer (Kingsland, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son got A LOT of use out of this play mat. He used it for about 6 months or so...just till he could start scooching off the mat to check out other things. What I really liked about this is the removable toys. I took them off and attached them to his stroller and walker, so while he's now too old for the mat, he's still getting use of the little hanging toy that come with it! My only complaint is this doesn't fold up, so it does take up a bit of room when not in use. I also had a Baby Einstein play mat, but my son didn't enjoy it as much as he did this one...however...the Baby Einstein mat folded in half, so storing it out of the way was nice. Overall, I absolutely recommend this mat! My boy just loved it, so it was money very well spent!
Best Gym out there November 22, 2008 Andrew J. Parker (Colombia) Our baby is 6 weeks old and loves the interacion this gym gives. Lights and music, but also the rattles have been great. we get 30 minutes of peace each day. Thanks FP!
