incredibly accurate October 16, 2008 S.G. (Baltime, MD) We tried for 6 months to get pregnant. Every month, I used an FRER before my period was due and it turned out negative. This month, the test showed positive at only 10 days past ovulation... I confirmed the pregancy with my doctor... these tests are incredibly accurate.
Dissapointed with the new FRER September 4, 2008 boogie's mom (Southern Cali) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have always been very satisfied w/ FRER. However this time I purchased FRER and Fact Plus(sold by amazon)as I noticed it was also an early pregnancy test. The results: Fact Plus gave me a faint but very clear positive during the mid afternoon 11 dpo. I used FRER at the same time and got a very hard to see faint line. In dismay I used another FRER test with the same urine sample and received the same result.Thses kind of results make things even more stressful as all we want is a clear answer. I was really shocked that Fact Plus out performed FRER.
Easy to use August 22, 2008 Angela Earles (Texas) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the First Response tests the best because of their ease of use and accuracy. I read about First Response tests being the best because of their high sensitivity to the hormone that it looks for in the urine. NO gripes here.
DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT--DITTO! July 9, 2008 Sharron (Coto de Caza, CA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I TOO HAVE HAD THREE FALSE POSITIVES! YOU SEE THE FAINT PINK LINE...YOU SPEND THE ENTIRE DAY DREAMING OF YOUR PREGNANCY; PICKING OUT NAMES, WHO YOU WILL TELL AND HOW; WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS, PRAYERS FOR YOUR NEW BABY...AND THE NEXT DAY YOU TAKE THE TEST...BOOM! THE LINE IS EITHER GONE OR THE SAME AND YOU REALIZE...YOU REALLY ARE NOT PREGNANT!! THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME THREE TIMES IN TWO YEARS OF TRYING...ALL OF THEM USING FIRST RESPONSE. JUST THIS MONTH THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN...THE LINE WASN'T EVEN AS FAINT...BUT ALAS AGAIN...JUST FIRST RESPONSE PLAYING WITH MY MIND AND EMOTIONS. IT'S TO THE POINT WHEN I USE THEIR TEST, I NEVER, EVER BELIEVE IT'S TRUE UNTIL THE SECOND DAY IF IT'S DARKER. NOT A RELIABLE TEST WHEN YOU ARE ALSO DEALING WITH INFERTILITY ISSUES. THIS COMPANY PLAYS TRICKS WITH WOMEN'S BODIES AND EMOTIONS. IT'S GREAT IF YOU "ARE" PREGNANT AND AGNOZING IF YOU REALLY AREN'T BECAUSE THEY LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE YOU ARE. THE FALSE POSITIVES ARE NUMEROUS AND THE COMPANY ISN'T HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT THEY DO TO WOMEN!
