The Stylish `n Secure Metal and Wood Walk-Thru Gate from Summer Infant is pressure-mounted and helps you create and maintain a secure environment for your child. It is way too short and even though it says it is expandable...the opening is not so it really is for a small doorway. I dont like the closure mechanism. It is very stylish and looks nice, but I am buying a new one...

I couldn't record the product in actual use because I never got that far, it broke before I even got it out of the box. It didn't match our wood color either, I may go with the cherry version though. Hope this helps.

There's two reasons we bought this gate, one for our convenience, because it was going up between the living room and kitchen and was easy to open when taking groceries in, etc, and two to give our three cats some area to play in without our dog trying to play with them, and it worked wonderful for both things. It also looks realllllyyy nice there and it's very easy to install. We absolutely love it, the cats love their privacy when they want it and it just works out great for everybody! I highly recommend this gate to anyone with pets!

I actually bought this gate to keep our dog from going upstairs where he had "accidents". It was easy (for my husband) to install and was a success for the intended purpose. I love the self-closing feature since our kids tend to forget latching it. I picked this gate because it looks great in our house. The staircase is located next to out fireplace so the iron bars and wood trim blend right in. Great product overall!!

Gate was not packaged well. Wood grain on obvious 45 degree angle. (wood should have been discarded by manufacturer) Wood broke during shipping. Glad it broke during shipping rather than while installing. I chose to be refunded, because I was not happy with tiny plastic latch. I am concerned that slight missallignment will cause the gate not to latch.
