By this time all you are left with is sleeping on your side. This little wedge pillow helps keep your tummy supported which helps keep your hips from being pulled out of alignment. Very handy. Very comfy. Get one.

I bought the Boppy pregnancy wedge as a gift for a friend's wife. After looking at reviews for other products, this pillow seemed to get the best reviews, so I bought it. My friend's wife said that it's a very good pillow and is very helpful. She wasn't thinking that she'd need the support yet, but once she started using the pillow, she mentioned feeling much more comfortable at night.

This helps take some of the weight off my hips, but I flip in the middle of the night and this always ends up on the floor. Great for lounging, but not great for sleeping.

The wedge was the perfect amount of support for my bulging belly. I am an averaged sized person (5'7" and started pregnancy at 160) and gained 30 lb during pregnancy. It was the perfect size to take the pressure off of my back while not taking up room in the bed. Yes, you need other regular pillows to organize your comfort, namely something between your legs, one behind your back if you tend to roll over and your pillows under your head. Some people complained that the wedge flattens out, however I found that the small amount that it flattened at the narrow edge was actually beneficial to contouring to my body. I think you'd have to be pretty large for this to be an issue. As you can tell from my stats, I'm no shrinking violet and this product held up to my weight.

When I first opened the package to the Boppy Wedge, I was disappointed in the quality. It is not the strong, sturdy type of pillow material like the traditional Boppy pillow. It is extrememly lightweight and more of a spongy/foam type material inside. I thought perhaps it might not hold up or become flattened after a couple of uses..but not so! It has been a huge blessing for me. I am nine months pregnant with two incisional hernias (from previous c-section). I was dealing with massive side and abdominal pain, especially at night and the Boppy Wedge gives the exact support, right where I need it! I've tried other supports and even maternity support belts, but they just were not the specific support that I needed. It has held up perfectly and still looks new after a couple months of use. It has retained it's shape and did not flatten out at all. I'm really pleased with this product and I highly recommend it! :-)
