The Best Baby Name Book available today! September 25, 2008 D. Munoz (Costa Mesa, CA) this book is fabulous! the perfect shower gift! No book available today on baby names is more fun or better researched! This author KNOWS baby names and is the foremost authority and the book is good and thorough. I highly recommend it.
Nothing new here... August 29, 2008 V. Dunn (California) I collect baby name books for writing, and I have about two other books by Ms. Stafford. Unfortunately, this book is just recycled from her other books, with a few added names. In addition, to the added names, I noticed a few if not more names that have made up meanings or incorrect spellings, i.e. Eiton is actually spelled EITAN and ELAN is not a french name meaning Finesse, it is a hebrew name and it means tree or Native American meaning friendly. Personally, I feel as a Baby name expert, Ms. Stafford should have taken the time to really research all the names in her books, before giving them made up names. On this note, it would have been nice to see something different from her other books, plus the real meaning of the names instead. This book may have 60, 001 names, but honestly I don't trust the true meaning of the names.
