Product Description Warm hues and whimsical design make this stacking toy one of a kind. An adorable classic 8 piece stacking clown with sturdy base. In lighthearted fashion, this cheerful fellow helps teach sequencing, color recognition and coordination.
Editorial Review BRIO's all-wood stacking clown is one stacking toy that's sure to light up your child's eyes. Brightly painted wooden rings in differing shapes and sizes combine on a 9.75-inch-high post with flat circular base to create a colorful clown complete with smiling face, round collar, and tall hat. The rings can be placed on the post in any order--which means frustration is minimal for even the youngest child. Older children learn about sorting and sequencing as they re-create the friendly clown. --Tami Horiuchi

Oldie but a Goodie! October 9, 2008 Midwest Mommy (Midwest, USA) I received this toy second hand in almost perfect condition, and it's probably close to 25 years old! This speaks volumes about the craftsmanship and durability of Brio toys. My kids love this stacker. It's a lot of fun for young children because it's flexible and looks like a silly wiggly clown. The pieces are smaller than a lot of the other stackers which is great for developing fine motor skills. This is a classic toy- buy it for your children and your children's children.
An oldy but a goody August 14, 2008 F. Turner (Richmond, VA USA) This is my favorite new baby gift. It's made of wood, sturdy and attractive, and my children loved playing with it from the time they could grasp an object until they were well into toddlerhood. No bells or whistles, just simple, old-fashioned play.
Lots of Fun November 21, 2002 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My daughter was given this as a secondhand toy and it looks like it is brand new. She enjoyed looking at it and knocking it over as an infant and now at 2 she has mastered stacking the rings and knowing the hat has to go on last. The only problem is the smaller rings and hat can fit very easily in a child's mouth we have had to put the hat and the smaller rings away until she stopped putting them in her mouth.
Simple is Often the Best November 6, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 10 month old son loves this toy. At first, I figured he was too young for it, but he enjoys trying to get the pieces on and taking them off. He also likes to hold on to the circles by the center holes and clap them together. The pieces even hold up to his teething --the paint stays on, he cannot bite through the wood, etc.
Old Time European Quality June 27, 2002 Katerina Kuehler (Cortlandt Manor, NY USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My son, who is now 4, wasn't into this kind of toys and I thought it was just a waste of money, but his 18 months old brother was absolutly delighted when he found it in the closet. It's one of his favorite toys now. This wooden stacker is made in Sweden in the same way it used to be made a hundred years ago and if nothing else it will teach your child to appreciate real, quality things in life.
