Worth the price! November 23, 2008 Jane Doe (AZ) This cart cover is exactly what I was looking for! It covers all sides of EVERYTHING I've put my 7-month old daughter in (grocery carts, large carts, restaurant high chairs, etc.), and she loves the bright colors and toys attached. We also get compliments all the time on how neat it looks. This is definitely worth the money spent!
Covers everything you need it to! August 18, 2008 J, A, J & E 's Mom (Central Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have to admit that I bought this without doing much research. The only research I did do was to make sure it would work in a shopping cart (both regular grocery stores and Costco Carts) AND in a restaurant high chair and it had to be gender neutral. I decided on the Infantino ICO in Olive after reading some of the reviews here. When I received it, the colors were exactly as I had expected. Some people have noted that the colors are not as they appear, mine were as they appeared in the picture. I have found that it is very easy to unroll the cover out of the bag and get it onto the shopping cart with a child in the other hand. I can also get it put away while holding my little one. I have washed it several times and it has washed very well. There has not been any fading, or padding shifting at all. The strap can be adjusted to be very long so that I can use it with a restaurant high chair and loop it around one of the back posts and secure it to the chair. It is a little bulky when used in a restaurant, but it just looks like my child is sitting in a little birds nest - she is extremely comfortable in it and loves playing with any toys we hook onto it. It comes with two toys and four toy loops. They are easily interchangeable. The bag can be detached from the cover if needed and the cover has extra pockets in the back to store things somewhat out of toddlers reach. I have found this cover to be very user friendly and safe. I have used it with my daughter and have no problem using this same one for my son that I'm expecting shortly. My favorite feature is that the cover does cover the entire front of the shopping cart, even my handle so I don't have to have germy hands either. The strap does come into contact with the back of the car seat, but I am okay with this as the back of the strap hardly ever comes in contact with my little one. I have noticed that not every shopping cart cover covers the entire front basket of the cart and some are very flimsy and lightly padded or do not come with it's own carrying bag. Overall I would highly recommend it.

After reading SO many reviews on this, some good some bad, I thought I'd just give it a shot. The color couldn't be THAT bad... I received it and the color is HIDEOUS! The green is this pukish looking lime and the squares are a nice shade of lavender--not so good for my little boy! Possibly for a girl, but the green is still just ugly. I left it in the bag with intentions on returning it, but somehow didn't get around to it...you know how it is... so just decided to buck up and try it out. If nothing else, I would now have the pattern to make my own if I wanted. When I took it out, the back side of it is totally brown, and actually sewn in a way that doesn't look backwards. So I have been using it on the reverse side for a few months and it has been alright. It washes nicely and it's pretty comfy for him but still holds him in tight. It obviously doesn't have the rings on that side to hook on toys, but he is too enthralled with everything else that's going on around him that he wouldn't even care if he had a toy in there with him. I love the concept of this product, I'm seriously grossed out by bare shopping carts. It really has been a dream to have, but I'm still looking for one that has a cuter pattern/colors to replace this one.
A note on the color July 19, 2008 E. Muir (San Francisco, CA) My cart cover just arrived and I haven't used it yet, but I want to comment on the color for those to whom it matters: the Candy Paisley is not a pale green as it may appear online, but in fact a bright lime green.
germ saver July 8, 2008 Erin Foster (Beverly Hills,Florida) I have a baby girl.I wanted a cart cover and liked the pattern and price.I odered the Candy Paisley seat but got the Olive Mod.By default I guess because the Paisley was out of stock.I was going to return it and wait for the Paisley, but the husband said no it's more neutral, incase of a boy next. It's a little awkward stearing the cart with the cover(I slip my hands under the cover). This cover saves baby from "teething" on the metal cart. The squeaky lion and bumpy ring amuses, the bag it fold into is accomidating. It's a necessary accessory to eating out.
