Good play pen, but even better as a stand-alone gate. December 1, 2008 Jennifer Piersol (Porterville, CA United States) It's true, this is small on its own. However, we didn't want the entire living room taken up by a monster play pen, so we didn't buy any extensions. When our son got too big to spend any significant amount of time in "baby jail", we just separated one of the sections and put it up in front of the large opening between the living room and the dining room/kitchen. It is exactly as if we had bought one of the $$$$ custom-fit baby gates for large openings - but it has a play center, too! Last Christmas was a success because we could surround the tree with the (opened) fence, making it impossible for the baby to grab any ornaments/lights/presents. We've found numerous uses for this wonderful play pen, and we recommend it to anyone who needs to block an area off temporarily.
Great, unless they're too smart..lol November 19, 2008 Myra Mora (Riverside County, CA) I bought this for my grandson's 1st birthday on October 5,2008. The first two weeks he LOVED it! The busy little items on there had his attention and he even cried when we took him out! By the 3rd week, he started getting bored with it and realized that when he pushed it hard enough (and all around), it came apart and he could 'escape'. We then tried tying yarn at the ends to keep it together, but he quickly learned that he could get out by lifting it up and over his head! Now mind you, he's not in the yard long, perhaps only an hour a day (if that long)! So, if your child is laid-back and not as curious, this yard may do well for them and you. But, if you child is very curious and an explorer, it won't take them long to figure their way out. With all that said and done, I would still recommend it. I think it would probably work better for children under a year and/or before walking.
The best baby jail EVER !!!!!!!!!!! November 11, 2008 Julie Anna Tennant I ordered this after seeing my son in the one at his sitters house. He loves it. He isn't a crawler yet, but it is the only place that he can go that the weiner dogs can't :-) I put a Sscat in it when he is out, as the cat also loves to jump in and get his toys. You would not be disappointed. It is easy to assemble and move, he loves the piano and there is plenty of room for me to sit and play with him inside.
love this.. our baby loves to play in.. October 29, 2008 D. R. Bennett (Bakersfield, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
she stays for around 30 minutes - 1 hour. after that, she will like to play outside. but i just open the door. sometimes she will go in and play iin her toy house. we call the name, before that we called it BABY JAIL.. hhahaa.. but now we call it TOY HOUSE, since our baby is older and understand more now.. ;P
omg i love it as much as he does October 15, 2008 wonderful and can't be more pleased with my son's new playpen. my friends are now getting one for their children!!
