Product Description The Baby Papasan Infant Seat is a deluxe infant seat that snuggles baby in natural looking soft and cushy fabrics. There is an infant insert in a soft quilted microsuede that supports baby's sides and a microsuede pillow to cradle baby's head. Overhead, baby has an adjustable mirror dome to look at, and a sweet plush mouse dangles to entertain. The music plays for 15 minutes continuously, and Mom has volume adjustment or she can turn the music off if she likes. Additionally the toy bar rotates out of the way to get baby in or out. The rear leg folds under to make it very flat and the toybar detaches for really easy take-along for Mom. A 3 pt. restraint is included and the pad is machine washable. Better sleeper & great for transport October 9, 2008 Cyrca (Orangevale, CA) While I also received a Bobby Cradle in Comfort seater and was very much considering returning this Fisher Price seater (who needs two?), I ended up keeping it and so glad that I did. This piece is actually very easy to transport (has the side handles and legs fold down), it fits trough our backdoor without having to tilt it - my daughter loves being outside and sleep - and it's good for sleeping. The Bobby seat is more reclined and better for sitting up for looking around and this Fisher Price one is more for sleeping and lying down, allowing room to stretch all the way.
love it for an infant September 6, 2008 Rings Fan love it although at 24" my daughter no longer finds it comfortable. When very little she did not like the traditional bouncy seats because they sat so upright and did not offer support on the sides like this one does.
Money well spent August 25, 2008 C. Nelson (Montana, USA) We originally bought a papasan seat for our oldest daughter in 2006. She still sits in it occasionally, and was perfect (before she got too big) for sleeping elevated when she was sick. When we found out we were expecting our 2nd daughter I knew that another papasan would be perfect! Such a life-saver!
boring for my child July 24, 2008 ELENA PATINO (Washington DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I must say that every child is different so I am jufdging this product according to what I could experience with my newborn daughter. I chose this item thinking it was a bouncer but IT IS NOT. It doesn't bounce it vibrates which is different. Some babies love the vibrating sensation but my daughter did not. I tried a friends bouncer and she slept beautifully there. Unfortunately, you have to try it before you get it, and I say unfortunatelly because how are you going to try something unless you buy it or borrow it from someone.
Awsome...Awsome!! :) June 29, 2008 A. Skillin (Texas) We are on our second little one and this seat has come in handy BOTH times. I got it for my baby shower the first time around and my daughter slept and hung out with me in the kitchen in this. Now I have a second daughter and she is sleeping and hanging out it in. Great investment. As another person said, not very useful after the child begins to roll over and be more active, but it is fantastic for newborns. I would recommend this seat to any new mom! Most importantly, it gives you a place to put baby that is not in the car seat or crib. It is comfy, vibrates and plays music. What more could a baby want? And mom, you can have your hands free for other things.
