Floor liner (I can't call it a mattress, it's too thin - and backed with cardboard!!) is terrible. Has a small piece of velcro attaching it at each corner to the fabric floor of the play yard. Took the baby about three days to figure out how to get it undone (just enough time to dirty the thing up that we couldn't take it back). She pushes it all to one end of the play yard, which means the thin fabric floor forms a sort of hammock between the hard metal struts underneath which she gets caught in, and the strut hub in the middle of the floor is lumpy and sharp. Even before she figured out how to pull the floor up I had to put a blanket underneath it for some extra padding. You can't take your eyes off your child for a moment with this thing and you can't use it to keep them "safe" while you do anything that dirties your hands up because you've got to be ready to grab them at any time. I normally like Evenflo products a lot but this is useless.

It is easy to put together but the mattress awful! I bought this for my grandaughter and she would be better off on the floor. The mattress was sooooooooooooo thin and would not stop curling at the ends... I am sending it back and fast.
