The PeaPod's inflatable air mattress protects baby from cold, damp floors while providing a comforting place to sleep. | Safe, Comfortable Bedtime on the Go The PeaPod P101 is a lightweight sleeping tent, which comes with an inflatable air mattress to keep your baby's bedtime comfortable. An air pump is included. The mattress fits snugly inside the sleeping tent "pod," which features a wraparound mesh canopy with a wide, zippered opening to give parents quick and easy access. Baby can nap in comfort outdoors, thanks to the canopy's UV protection and to a wide windscreen. The pod also includes a washable sleeping bag that can double as a sleeping pad. Travel Light The last thing you need while you're traveling with a baby is to lug a lot of extra luggage around. Rather than packing a Pack'n'Play or a folding bassinet, which are cumbersome and heavy, simply pack the ultra-light, super-compact PeaPod away in your suitcase. At 14 x 5 x 14 inches (LxWxH) when closed, it takes up little space, and it comes with a carrying case for easy portability. And at 47 x 30 x 19 inches (LxWxH) when open, the PeaPod will take up little space once you reach your destination. The PeaPod is also designed to open and fold shut quickly and easily. Other than the included air pump for quickly inflating the small mattress, no tools are needed: simply follow the directions to "snap" it into its standing position, and fold it back down quickly when finished. So whether you're traveling across the country, making a weekend trip to the beach, or simply spending the day at a friend's house, the PeaPod Portable Travel Bed makes it super-easy and convenient for baby to sleep comfortably and safely while on the go.

Not great for toddlers October 28, 2008 Naidre Miller Loughney (Brooklyn, NY) Not bad for infants- will restrain them. Terrible for toddlers- too small and claustrophobic inside. Until they are rolling, it is possible that yours might sleep in it. Mine wouldn't.
Great for traveling October 6, 2008 Traveling Mama (San Francisco, CA) My husband and I took our 7 month old on the road for three weeks and we knew lugging a pack 'n' play was out the question. The pros: 1) Easy to set up and break down. 2) Very light weight and pretty compact too, I put it in my suitcase. 3) Comfortable for baby, she slept in it just fine. The con: There's a cheap blanket that is supposed to velcro to the bottom of the tent for the child to lay on. Since loose blankets in a crib are a SIDS no-no, I was a little concerned because this blanket has loose ends and could flip up on the sides. My daughter is a little old to be concerned about that so I wasn't too worried, plus it never actually flipped up to cause any concern. But if were traveling with a newborn I would try to come up with another alternative to the blanket or just not use the blanket. The downside to not using it is then the child is sleeping on the nylon tent fabric which is not the most comfortable. The other issue with the blanket is that the blue dye rubs off on drooling faces. All in all I am happy with this product. We'll take it on trips, to the beach, etc.
Great idea July 24, 2008 N. Poore I love this product, however my daughter is a little skeptical. She will sleep in it but then wake up crying so we aren't sure if she likes it or not. We are giving it one more try then selling it!
Love it! June 15, 2008 J. Lyman (Orem, UT) I bought this after reading all the reviews, I was a little worried that it would be too small, however it fits my almost 3 year old just fine, and he's really tall. My 5 month old didn't have a problem sleeping in it. We took it camping with us and it was perfect! It's easy to fold up again, all you have to do is read the directions. I very happy with this bed!
She likes it! May 31, 2008 Kimberly P. Napoleone (Worcester, MA USA) I bought this for my 4 month old daughter. She was very content to lay in this bed on the beach on a camping trip. She doesn't roll over yet, so she just kept looking around and smiling. It protected her from the sun, wind & running children. I made a couple of sheets for it, to keep it cleaner longer. I hope to use it in the backyard too. Folding was easy and the bag holds everything.
