Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Designed by Graco, this engaging activity center stimulates and entertains your little mover for hours. Through a unique and engaging collection of toys and real world-imagery, this walker/activity center introduces infants to color, shapes, textures, animals, nature, language and music.

The 3-Way Convertible Entertainer features a gentle rocking motion, 360-swivel seat so your baby can easily access toys and the tray and stationary stands that inhibit mobility during snack time. There's a total of nine interactive toys to help develop sensory and motor skills. Fabric cover on wrap-around seat is removable for machine washing. Designed for children weighing less than 32 pounds.

Amazon.com Review
There are nine stimulating toys within baby's reach on this Baby Einstein activity center to help develop important sensory and motor skills. Ergonomically designed, the seat makes activities strain-free for independent learning, but the 3-position height adjustment grows with baby as they become more engaged and have interactive playtime with parents.

Graco Baby's activity center hosts items that teach colors, shapes, textures, animals, music, and more. The language feature has a bevy of simple words played in English and Spanish to encourage talk-back, repetition, and retention. The pièce de résistance of this feature: with each word ("gato" or "cat", for example), there is a real-world photograph, rather than illustration, of the animal which is associated with it, making it easier for babies to recognize.

The Baby Einstein activity center offers three motion options. Its stationary position is nice for snack time or interactive play with others (the hand puppet attachment being ideal for this). The gentle rocking motion provides a soothing sensation for agitated babies, while the 360-degree swivel feature allows access to the entire tray when baby is playing alone.

Baby Einstein Activity Center toys include:

  • Green dragon hand puppet
  • Blue bead-filled, spinning globe
  • Shape tower with cloth triangle, circle, and square
  • Set of three spinning wheels that rattle, squeak, and chime
  • Orange rubber teething star
  • Yellow sun rattle
  • Horseshoe loop with five colorful, moveable beads
  • Plastic book with pages featuring animal pictures
  • Buttons that play animal names, sounds, and music when pressed

The fabric seat pad is removable and machine washable. All metal and plastic parts can be cleaned with regular soap and water. Three AA batteries (not included) and adult assembly are required.

Editorial Reviews
There are at least 8 stimulating toys within hands' reach with this latest Baby Einstein creation, together offering enough interest and diversity to teach new colors, textures, shapes, musical scores, realistic animal depictions and sounds, and a bevy of bilingual words. The marquee feature: with each word or sound ("chien", "gato", or "cat", for example), there is a photographed, rather than illustrated, animal which is realistically associated with it. Simple words cited in several languages encourage talk-back, repetition, and retention. A hand-puppet offers interactive play with big people and a textured array of shapes, sizes, and colors aid sensory development and hand-eye coordination. Ergonomically designed, the seat makes activities strain-free (for children up to 30 pounds or about 32 inches). Learning and playing is therefore more independent, but that's not to say parents shouldn't join in the fun. Requires adult assembly and 3, AA batteries. --Diane Beall

2 out of 5 stars IMPOSSIBLE to clean.. paint chpped, unsanitary   November 16, 2008
A. Marshall (Charlottesville, VA)
Why in the world would you make a toy for babies to slobber on that is impossible to clean! I just spent 15 minutes trying to get the seat cover off, finally did, but I am not looking forward to getting it back on. And some of the toys are permanently mounted, and yet they have plush features that I can't just wipe clean. Also, other reviews are correct--the paint does chip off the hard plastic pieces, specifically the arch of balls.

The evenflo exersaucer (which I also have...) is much preferable. Pieces snap out for cleaning, and no paint chips!

5 out of 5 stars Fun Bright and Cheerful Excersaucer   October 15, 2008
C. Gilbert (Dallas, TX)
Purchased this for my then-infant daughter, and used it again when her baby brother came along...and she was STILL interested in it! In fact, she would crawl over in it and sit and talk to herself in the little mirror (haha) They loved the animal sounds, and I credit this to our daughter learning all of them at 9 months old. (Our son just liked to chew on all the toys lol)

When he started crawling and got too big (literally) for it, I re-sold it for $35, which told me this was a great investment in price/value, too!

5 out of 5 stars Good way to occupy a hard to please boy   August 26, 2008
NeesyBeth (Los Angeles, CA USA)
We purchased this item used and it is so far the best toy we've bought thus far. Your child can safely use this exersaucer (or any exersaucer for that matter) as long as he/she can't walk and isn't too tall for it. My son loves all the toys, not just a few. He really enjoys the animal buttons, although gets frustrated when he can't make it play music right away. You have to push the same button four times consecutively without pushing any other buttons. That is a difficult task at this age. He only loses patience when he's tired though. The other toy he really loves is the dragon puppet. I stick my hand in it and talk to my son in a different voice. He loves the interaction and the dragon was the first toy he sort of "kisses." He also pulls himself up and stands holding on to the exersaucer and plays with the toys that way. I put the stabilizers down so it doesn't rock and it sort of unofficially functions as an activity table. The exersaucer shows no wear even though my son is the second child to use it. It washes clean very easily and the seat is removable to throw in the wash if need be.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product!   July 21, 2008

I was looking for a exersaucer for my 4 1/2 baby girl, I didn't do much research, and was actually looking for a used one. I found this one, I put my daughter in it and she absoulutally LOVES it! She's been in it now for about 20 minutes and still is not fussing to get out! I did some research of course after I bought it and found that there was a recalled toy on it, but I called custermer service and they took care of it right away and a new part is on it's way. They really stand by their products and that's why I buy Graco products.
