Product Description Leachco Carry On Pullover Sling Carrier The Leachco Carry On Pullover Sling Carrier is the only carrier which frees up both arms while the child remains completely safe and secure. Unlike other baby slings or wraps, Leachco's version pulls over the head of mom. It is the only sling or wrap on the market which goes over the head of mom. The Carry On Pullover Sling Carrier comes in two different sizes. The Sling Carrier from Leachco is simple to use. It features a continuous one piece design with no confusing rings or buckles. The baby carrier from Leachco features an adjustable upper and lower drawstring to ensure a perfect fit every single time. The Leachco Carry On Pullover Sling Carrier is designed with freedom in mind so mom can carry on with a busy life. The size is determined according to the adult wearing the baby sling. The small-medium fits for parents under 5 feet 6 inches and less than 150 lbs. The large-extra large baby carrier will fit parents larger than that.
Editorial Review Though they are one of the oldest baby-carrying devices in existence, slings have recently become a hot item. And it's not hard to see why. Like most slings, this pullover model from Leachco allows Mom to carry baby close while keeping her arms free. It's machine washable and designed in simple black with snazzy faux leopard skin trim. Once inside, babies weighing up to 30 pounds can ride either on the hip or cradled in the front. Drawstrings at the top and bottom of the unit help adjust the fit and the top string can be used to close off the top of the sling, allowing for discreet breastfeeding. Because it's designed to be worn like a shirt, one size does not fit all, so make sure you shop accordingly. --John Moe

Very useful August 10, 2008 KK (Sac, CA) I will recommend this for every breast-feed parents. It is very easy to feed the baby.
Good from 6 weeks to 5 months February 15, 2007 C. Carter (norwich, united kingdom) This sling was a life-saver for me. I couldn't use it when my baby was first born because he sank to the bottom of it, but once he was around 6 weeks old, he and I both loved it. I used it on a long distance trip and was able to carry all my luggage because my hands were freed up. All the weight does end up distributed on your upper back, which hurts after about 20 minutes, but it is not unbearable. The best thing to do is to walk with him as soon as he's comfortable with it so you can keep building up your strength. As far as other reviews referencing the baby being scrunched up, they do spend nine months scrunched up and they seem to like it just fine. He could always breathe in it, so I was never worried. The best thing about it is that whenever he was fussy I could just put him in there and he would almost immediately stop crying because it gave him that "swaddled" feeling. I had also tried using the better-reviewed Peanut Shell carrier, but I could never get the fold right so he always felt like he was going to fall out. The Leachco is almost idiot-proof. I always washed this on cold and let it air dry because it did shrink a little the first time I dryed it. Also, it is ugly as sin with that cheetah print thing, but it matched my pastel green diaper bag, in a "I have a newborn and no longer care what I look like" sort of way. He outgrew it at around 14-15 pounds (5 months), so it's only good for a few months.
Great for nursing! June 16, 2006 E. Gernhardt 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this sling for my daughter and we both loved it. The best feature I found was the privacy of nursing. It was so easy to nurse while she was already in the sling. The sling is large enough that I was able to nurse in public with confidence and no one could even tell. This sling also felt much better on my back, since the weight was evenly distributed to both shoulders. I found it extremely easy to put on and place my baby in it comfortably. Much easier to use than other slings. It comes in different sizes depending on your size, which makes for a comfortable fit. We're now expecting our second child and this sling is one of the first things I took out of storage.
Never used it, and looks ugly to boot April 22, 2005 J. Seifert (Indianapolis, IN USA) 27 out of 31 found this review helpful
We got this thinking it would be handy to carry our baby around in for brief spells, instead of having to always carry her in our arms for hours at a time. Unfortunately, we could never get her in the carrier without completely upsetting her to the point that we'd have to take her out to be calm again. While it's hard to tell from the picture, the trim on the carrier is a leopard print...it's ugly! Even if this worked for us, we'd never take it out in public. Lastly, the one sheet of instructions had typos in it. I'm sorry, but that's simply the nadir of unprofessionalism.
Baby falls into it. April 13, 2005 Tin Basilan (Bloomfield, NJ) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
I used this sling with my newborn son and I feel it's simply too big for him; if I don't support his head, he keeps slipping down into it w/c can be annoying. I gave this item two stars since my son seems comfortable in it - he sleeps in it - but for me, it's a little akward. I am currently looking for another sling.
