Customer Service Awful April 7, 2008 D. Bennett (maryland) I received this as a baby shower gift along with another sling. I hated it right from the start. I looked in all the pockets and didn't find the nursing blanket that was suposed to be included. I emailed customer service telling them that it wasn't included. I got a short message back, asking me if I looked in the pockets, ummmm I said that in my previous email. Finally they sent a replacement to me (which took forever) and its litterally the size of a burp cloth and my baby had outgrown the sling by the time they sent it. I used the sling for a while (just because I didn't want to hurt the person who gave it to me's feelings) and like other's have said it hurt my back and and I mostly used the more stylish more user friendly Infantino sling rider. This is made by the first years who made a breast pump that kept falling apart and getting milk in the chambers (this was with my last baby) when I called customer service they just told me how to put it back together (which wasn't the answer to my question) and hung up. It went into the garbage. And this went on ebay. DO not buy
Not very comfortable October 6, 2007 E. Brewer (St Louis, Missouri, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I only used this a few times when my son was a newborn. After 20 minutes or so it started to hurt my shoulder and back. Also, I couldn't get my son to fit in it like the baby in the picture. He kept sliding to the middle (like he was rolling into a ball). Now that he's big enough to fit in it well, he doesn't want to lay in it. I chose this sling for descrete breastfeeding, but I never could do that comfortably either. I ended up getting the Nojo sling recently; both my baby and I are very happy with it. Overall, the Lamaze sling is cute and looks neat with all the pockets, vents, and nursing blanket, but wasn't very comfortable.
Works great! September 8, 2007 K. Orstad 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My husband and I really love this carrier which we actually borrowed from a friend. We've also got a front carrier, but our little one is only 2 weeks old and under 6 pounds and does NOT fit in the front carrier very well. She fits comfortably in the sling carrier and usually falls asleep fairly quickly. The cover cloth keeps the sun and bugs off of her. It's allowed us to go on walks around the neighborhood and through the park without dealing with a big awkward stroller/carseat combo. I know she'll grow out of it quickly (I think my friend used it for a couple months before her daughter was too big), but for now it's great. No problems with our height, I'm 5'2" and my husband is 5'10" and we both can use it comfortably. UPDATE (Sept 2008) We used this carrier for a lot longer than I thought. I think she was 7-8 months when we quit because of size of baby, and by then she liked the convertible front/back carrier better. She absolutely LOVED her sling carrier, usually was fast asleep within minutes of going in. I would highly recommend this product.

I fiqured if my daughter was 6 foot it would of worked. Returning
It's just a duffel bag. March 25, 2007 Jankenpunch 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It hurt my shoulder, offered no support for the baby and didn't allow the baby to see what was going on around her. Go with a chest mounted carrier.
