| Customer Reviews:
works great December 1, 2008 zhaus (brooklyn, ny) I bought this a little big so my husband could wear it too - I'm 5'7" and 130lbs; he's 6'1" and medium build. it works great. In very cold weather, I don't have to put a coat on my baby - just a sweater, this vest, and a hat, and we're both toasty. It can be hard to zipper it by yourself, but after some practice, I got the hang of it. The only drawback to this is that my daughter has a hard time going to sleep with it on b/c it's hard for her to put her head against my chest, and I can't use the hood on my Ergo. Otherwise, I love it - worth every cent.
A "MUST HAVE" if you wear your baby or toddler September 14, 2008 Mom of two (Denver, CO) When trying to find a coat to wear in the winter while wearing my daughter, I found the Peekaru was the best option by far. Others were too hot or too complicated. The Peekaru was the only coat that allowed us to layer--we would start off with the vest, and a coat and hats for both of us--but could take off the extra layers when we got warmer. It was perfect. It is very well made. It has gone through two kids and still looks great.
I Love this Vest!!! September 13, 2008 Lisa Carter (Denver, Colorado) This vest was a gift. At first i thought "Hmmm, am i really going to need this? " There are so many things that new moms just HAVE to have to keep baby and family happy, and i wasnt sure if this was going to be one of them or if it was going to be in the 'to donate' pile. ;) Well, After using it once (and it was easy to use, i just viewed the instructions on the website togetherbe.com) i was hooked! Besides getting so many compliments from just about every mom who saw us, and the flattering way it compliments the post pardum body, i just loved how comfortable my baby was. She didnt have to be bundled up in layered puffy clothes. We were snuggled up close and warm and it felt great. I even nursed her with no problems. I just unzipped the sides a bit and lowered her in. No one could even tell we were nursing! Its the perfect fall outing wear for me and my baby. Its surprisingly great in the winter too! If i need to be any warmer, i just throw a jacket on for sleeve warmth. Usually, though with walking and carrying a 20 pound baby im plently warm with just the vest! I love the Peekaru!
Wonderful Product!!! September 13, 2008 Holly Masone (Denver, CO) We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Peekaru!!! The fleece is super warm and fuzzy with absolutely no pilling, even after numerous washes. Both my babies LOVED to be snuggled up in the vest. It is perfect for those crisp fall days and warm winter afternoons. Super easy to use with virtually no learning curve. Just slip, zip and go. Awesome customer service! They helped me choose the right size and answered a bunch of babywearing questions as well. I recommend this product to everyone!
Warm Cuddles September 13, 2008 Karen Hoppis (Colorado) he Peekaru is an excellent way to keep warm while wearing your baby! The fleece is nice and soft and it is easy to use with the baby on your front or on your back. Perfect for crisp fall days or under a larger coat in the dead of winter. My daughter loves to snuggle down in her carrier and take a nap. The vest is well made and the customer service is fantastic. I had them help me decide which size to get. :) My husband likes it too.
