5 out of 5 stars It's BIG but works great   July 31, 2008
Lisa Steiner (Philadelphia)
It's a bit on the big side but you can't kill it. It's 9 months later and it's still going strong!!!
It's been dropped and the glass bottles lived!!!
Lots of room for all your junk and if you live in a city where a baby changing station is a joke,
this is the bag you need. We have had to change our daughter on bathroom counters to horrible floors
because here in Philly most restrooms are so small they have no room for changers or don't care.
The inside on the spot changer is great and easy to clean. Has a decent pad too!!!!
I'm a 1st time mom and could not imagine having any other bag!

1 out of 5 stars Not worth the price   February 20, 2008

I thought, based on all the rave reviews, that this was exactly what I was looking for. But it's just terribly designed. The first thing I noticed was that it was awkwardly bulky. I hadn't thought that the "squish" factor was so important (this was for our first child). The bag won't collapse when you need it to (such as to place under the seat on a flight or when you have to place it at your feet on a car trip). And yet for all that, it doesn't hold much at all. My baby was formula fed, so I had to carry bottles. But it only had one bottle section and it was of mesh (I should have done more research to find out that there was no insulated compartment in the bag for the bottles). And it's a bit of a struggle to squeeze in a normal 8 oz bottle. I gave up on my avent wide necks because they simply didn't fit well at all in the section, let alone that it could not be put in the bottle holder.

If you are carrying more than a couple of diapers, one or two bottles, and a rattle, you will find yourself maxing out the space. Oh, you can probably squeeze in more, but it'll be ridiculously crowded.

Lastly, the other side of the bag NOT pictured has a netting material over it. This material has NOT stood up to the rigors of being dragged about with, and by, baby. It's all tattered and was like that within 6 months of purchase.

I won't be buying this again! I think I'll for for a more traditional diaper bag in the future. Petunia Picklebottom will work far better for me, and look more fashionable to boot!

3 out of 5 stars Great overnight bag/travel bag, too bulky for everyday use   September 3, 2007

I bought this bag last year when I was in search for the perfect diaper bag. Most diaper bags seemed to have bottomless holes for pockets and I was always losing my keys, cell phone, wallet and other personal items in them. They were also hard to access anything with just one had. This bag is great in that the compartments and pockets keep everything organized so that you can find things easily. The changing pad is outstanding, and I would give it 5 starts as a separate item. However, the bag is very bulky and not very good for everyday use, such as running errands/shopping. I had a small diaper bag for errands that I would transfer my wallet/cell phone to, but that is getting to be a pain. The bag is fine for play dates, doctor's visits, restaurants, but it just isn't practical for errands. It's great for travel, and the backpack feature came in very handy when we were flying, however the backpack feature is a bit problematic in that the straps tend to slip and it can take some getting use to. I'll continue to use it for travel/overnight purposes, however I've ordered a smaller bag that can be used for everyday use, but is large enough to continue to use the baby bjorn changing pad. If you're looking for an everyday diaper bag, I suggest buying the changing pad only and getting a smaller diaper bag. If you're looking for a great travel bag, then this bag is for you.

5 out of 5 stars Great diaper bag   June 19, 2007

I still have about 4 weeks before EDD, but I have already started using the BabyBjorn Baby Diaper Bag Dynamic. I am using it to pack for the hospital. I was so excited to get this as it just looks so flexible and stylish and packing for the hospital, I wasn't let down. There is a ton of room in the diaper bag for both the baby and my belongings. It is organized. I have used others and everything seems to get lost on the bottom of most of them. I don't see that happening with this one. I can't wait to "really" use it!
