Editorial Review Designed to fit over playards and porta cribs, this portable mesh tent provides a domed cover that keeps babies in the crib and pets (especially cats) out. Rigidity is provided by two bowed top rods and two straight side rods, which come in sections and slot together. There's a large, sturdy zip for easy access. The crib lid also converts into a freestanding cabana-style tent for use on the beach or in the yard; a waterproof floor, sunshade, insect net, and two ground stakes are provided. --Richard Farr

For a good nights sleep this is what you need! November 26, 2008 Contrary2 (Metairie, LA USA) My daughter began climbing out of her bed and unfortunately once she gets over she fell to the ground. I could not sleep at night because of this and after I ordered the tent all my worries are over. She became quite masterful of climbing and now she can't get out at all. The only problem with it as far as I can see is that it isn't something I'd want to constantly take on and off. I have when we were going out of town and experienced a small tear that did not affect the overall integrity of the tent. I now just keep all the rods in place and "fold" it flat and tuck it under the bed while traveling. But the benefits of the tent far outweigh these minor problems.
secure minded mommy October 8, 2008 Jason A. Hamby (harriman , tn) i love this thing ! It was not hard to put together at all ! We could not get our son to sleep in his own bed becase he kept crawling out now he is sleeping throught the night in his own bed without escaping .I feel safe knowing hes not going to get hurt.I really do reccomend this product.
Works Great! October 3, 2008 Bob Smith (Sacramento, CA) Easy to set up and works well. Our 13 pound cat even jumped on it to test it, worked as advertised!
Almost Perfect! July 5, 2008 Cali Kai (Orange County, CA) I bought this tent for a Graco Pack n' Play that my daughter is currently using for a bed until we can move her into her brother's room. We loosely cover the Pack n' Play with a sheet to make it a little bit darker, so once she could sit up I knew it would be safer to have this tent. I bought the full crib size version of this tent a couple of years ago and never had any problems with it. This smaller play yard tent is the same design but doesn't fit the Pack n' Play as well as I had hoped. My Pack n' Play has to curved ends that the tent doesn't fit very well. Also, when I received the tent it had a few snags in the mesh. I didn't send it back because I know from experience this is going to happen eventually. If your play yard is flat on all sides then I would say this is the perfect product. This still works for us as I just made some adjustments by not using all of the clips. As for the cabana feature, this was no use to us because our daughter could already sit up when we purchased this (it makes a very short cabana). The cabana may work for a newborn however. I definetely recommend this product if for nothing more than the peace of mind it will give you.
works well so far...... July 3, 2008 twinmommy (Montville, NJ) We desperately needed this product so we could travel and visit family. Our boys are a little over two years old and can easily get out of the pack and play. They are still in a dangerous stage as far as what they could get into and a possible fall down stairs. We called the tent their "special fort". They were excited about using it at first. Now,they are on to the fact that they can't climb out with the fort on. They do give us a little opposition at nap and bed time, but ultimately go to sleep. We feel good knowing that they are safely tucked in bed. That all being said, these crib tents (even the regular size one for the big crib) are hard to assemble with one person. You have to be pretty srong to get all of the rods in place on your own. The mesh can rip easily and we had to sew one side of it already. But once you put one together, it makes the others easier to put together. We assembled 4 of them: 2 for the pack and plays, 2 for the big cribs, as we have twin boys. It is an absolute life saver for us. We are not ready to give up the control of having our boys safely contained in bed at night. They really are not ready for that either........
