The wheels make this one easier to move January 5, 2009 Andrew J. Riemer (Winsted, MN United States) Of all the portable cribs/playyards my wife and I have used (and we have 10 kids, so we've had a few), this one is by and far our favorite. One simple feature--the two wheels placed on one set of legs--make is so much easier to move this unit, both when packed and when set up for use. When folded down for travel, unless we expect it to be messy outside (e.g., slush or mud), we leave the bag off the unit. The handle is integrated into the pad, so you don't need the bag to carry it (unlike some of the earliest ones we tried). Without the bag on, the two leg-wheels allowed it to be pushed or pulled through a hotel lobby by one of our older boys who could not otherwise carry it. That was a bonus! When set up, having the two wheels means that it is easy to tip up one end and pull it away from its original location--ideal for vacuuming or retreiving a toy that may have fallen under or behind the playyard. **COMMON SENSE ALERT*** Of course, never roll the unit while the child is still inside. Beyond the wheels, the quality is what we've come to expect from Graco--that's a good thing. My wife and I love the mute color of this one--it's neutral enough for a boy or a girl. We did use ours in bassinet mode a lot in the early months. It makes it nice not to need to bend so far down as we had to when we had models without that feature. What would I improve? The only thing I would imrpove at all is one of the accessories: the mobile. It would have been nice if the spring were a little longer, so it would run longer between windings (or, better yet, even a battery-operated motor would have been nice--I like the real chimes rather than the electronic tones that come on the purely digital noise-makers). On a related note, it would have been nice if the winding knob would have been larger, to make it easier to turn. Those are the only improvements I would have made to this item. It really is a great buy.
Just as good December 31, 2008 the gorethox (NM) Well when I wasnt stabbing myself with the manual. It was very easy to put together. I think it could use more cushion for the baby and the wheels dont move that freely. Other wise it was the best for the money.
Easy to assemble & disassemble December 26, 2008 Nancy K. Willis (Bismarck, ND) I was just a little perplexed, but quickly figured out how to setup this Pack 'n Play, break it down and move it to another location in the house. It's very sturdy and useful with its changing bed, and higher bed for our daughter's newborn. I am older and it's easier for me with this play yard to work with my grandchild when babysitting.
Great buy December 20, 2008 E. Cedano (Dominican Republic) Excellent playard!! Great colors, looks even better in person. Love the little changer and the mobile is super cute.
Better than it looks December 16, 2008 Kathryn R. Kuhn I ordered this off the web picture, never having seen it myself. The colors are WAY cuter in person than they look on the website. The pack and play portion was super easy to set up, the bassinet part slips right on, the changing table gave me a little bit of trouble, you have to make sure you do it just right or you get stuck but other than that, at 6 months pregnant I set it up in about 10 minutes. the mobile works good and it feels very sturdy. Cant wait to get the baby into it.
