Amazon.com Product Description Make your youngster's learning experience more upbeat with the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Alphabet Drum alphabet drum. Each tap of this drum introduces baby to the alphabet and improves vocabulary in both English and Spanish. Engaging music and interactive play sharpen motor skills as baby learns to tap, crawl, and dance. It features three delightful learning modes, including Alphabet, Dance Along, and Music Play. Babies quickly catch on to cause and effect, as each tap rewards them with lights, letters, and music. Music Play mode lets the child freely explore music, fostering open-ended play and creative movement. And this drum's lively, roll-along song teaches them to crawl after the drum. Ideal for children ages six months to three years, this stimulating toy entertains and educates for hours. The Beat Goes On The Alphabet Drum is built to withstand the throws and whacks from typical toddler handling. Parents will appreciate the volume control as it keeps the music at an enjoyable level. To prolong battery life, the drum shuts off if it hasn't been used for awhile. Plus, at approximately 8 inches tall, it helps babies learn to sit up on their own. Both the English and Spanish voices of the Alphabet Drum are audible and easy to understand. Bright colors, uplifting music, and a fun design make this a favorite in any child's toy box. Award-Winning Features It is no surprise that the LeapFrog Alphabet Drum was a winner of the 2006 iParenting Media Greatest Products Award. This drum teaches language, music, and motor skills as a strong foundation for the child's future. Children love to dance, roll it around, or chase after it, and as a versatile toy, it can be played with through multiple development stages. What's in the Box LeapFrog drum and 3 AA batteries.

We use it everyday, but not as a drum. January 5, 2009 Michelle J I bought this toy for my 8 month old daughter. My daughter likes to hit the table or anything in front of her, but not this drum. But I found the other use of it. I bought the drum together with the music table(highly recommend). The drum is perfectly fit the table as a small bench. So we use it everyday, in another way. :) Maybe when she gets bigger, she'll start using it as a drum, so far I'm not regretting to get it.
My son LOVES this toy! January 2, 2009 J. Neel (Texas) We bought the LeapFrog Learn & Groove Alphabet Drum for our one-year-old son. He absolutely loves it! He enjoys pounding on the drum, and the different modes give him a variety in his playtime. The songs are cute and the LED characters on the drum are adorable. The alphabet mode will be more fun when he gets a little older. Also, we like having the volume control so we can turn the toy down if we need to.
Good idea, but my son lost interest quickly December 28, 2008 R. Pearson (Salt Lake City, UT) My son loves to bang on anything and everything and I thought this drum would be perfect. It's nice that it does the alphabet and that it has both English and Spanich, but it failed to keep my son's attention. Overall, it's not worth the purchase.
Great toy December 22, 2008 Abby This product is fun, durable, useful and interesting. However, I didn't find it to be valuable as an educational tool. The alphabet is not very practical for very little children who are learning the alphabet but might be for those kids who have already mastered it and can recognize letters as a review tool. All the same it is a great toy and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great Xmas December 16, 2008 Mechelle Alvarado (Texas City, Texas) This is a great gift for Xmas for the baby! Loves drums and learn while she bangs it!
