My husband bought this for me for Christmas. At first I wasn't too crazy about it...but then I put it on. Yes, it is ugly, (one reviewer mentioned this) but, really, did he buy it for looks? I'm not about to have friends over while wearing it! It's to keep warm, and that being it's purpose, it does an excellent job! As some other reviewers have mentioned, it is incredibly soft inside and keeps me warm while I watch TV and read.
I hate when people review an item based on crazy personal expectations and bring the rating down! It does what it says, very well, therefor it deserves 5 stars.

This was a terrific choice for a Christmas gift for my better half. It's well-constucted & cozy.

I bought 5 of them because I knew if I did not have one for everyone in my family we would be fighting over them. We keep our house very cool in the winter. After I ordered I realized I spent $200.00 on my purchase and in order to make it worth it I will have to turn down my thermostat even more. But since we received them, we all love them (even my teens!)but we realize we look pretty funny wearing them. I do believe we need to get a family picture taken wearing them!

At the time I purchased this wrap, it arrived so quickly, I was quite impressed!
It has been more of a comfort than I expected since Oregon had a severe, extended snowstorm and the wrap is what kept me from getting too cold when we had an ice storm and the power was out for quite awhile!
Every day around the house I wear it to keep from turning up the thermostat higher, and I'm just as cozy as could be! It's wonderful!

If you are looking for something that is warm, cozy and attractive, save yourself the money and buy something else.
I got one of these for my wife because she is always cold. Once she opened it and we looked at the instructions ... we both started cracking up at how ugly it is. She looked like a giant slug.
Take note, because of the way the model in the picture holds her arms it looks like this thing has sleeves, but it does not. It is just folded over and snapped. So if you wanted to extend your arms out to the sides you really can't. Look closely at the picture and you will see that there is a top flap that comes down and snaps together. It's part of what makes this so ugly.
You can use it as a blanket as well and I think that is the only use ours will see.
