When an average crib mattress itself is;

This pad fits the crib mattress perfectly and doesn't slide off the corners or bunch up. It always looks and feels perfectly smooth. There is no leaking through, no matter how wet it gets. It launders well, time and time again. It is a great product. I wish they made one in king-sized. :-)

I haven't had these long but I have washed them to get ready for the baby. They washed up so soft and the larger size makes it easier to put the pad on the mattress. I didn't use any weird baby detergent or anything but the jersy type material is great. You can tell that the seams won't twist and the sides/elastic won't deteriorate quickly like some others have in the past. I am really happy with them, even considering their cost compared to others.
