So convenient June 26, 2008 Reds Fan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This thermometer is great! I love the three ends to it! You don't have to worry about cross contamination between the rectal use for my newborn now and underarm or oral use later. I've checked it against "regular" digital thermometers and taken it on the same day as a doctor's visit and I've found it to be very accurate. I also like the storage compartment on the back side of the unit because I would certainly lose the attachments!
Great June 6, 2008 Anna Higham (Edison, New Jersey United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this thermometer all the time. I love that it has 3 different attachment and it shows right on the display where to use it. Another thing that I really like is that it lights up red if the child has a fever. I would definitely recommend it.
More junk from China May 20, 2008 RC (Utah) 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
This seemed to be a good deal, but it is junk like all of the other thermometers I have recently purchased. It's new home is in the junk drawer. I think it is very poorly made, it also doesn't correctly read temperatures. We all have a temperature of 84 degrees everytime I try to use it?? My advise would be not to waste your money. Oh, and did I mention it is made in China........
Its ok February 18, 2008 A. Taheri (Seattle Washington) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I Purchased this thinking it was pretty close to what they had our preemie use at the hospital, and for the most part this is pretty close. It doesnt seem to be much more accurate then the cheapo thermometers, and is more or less just as quick. The only reall difference is that it gives you the color code when it returns the result for ok or fever. The back end where it stores the other parts is not the beset quality, if you are fairly strong you will pull it out too far each time as I do and that gets fairly annoying sometimes. Also its not terribly easy to switch the ends/leads out or to even put one on in the first place, you need to have light and they only fit in one way.
The Only Thermometer We Need January 25, 2008 Michigan Mommy (Fenton, MI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received two other thermometers as gifts but this was the closest to what they use at the doctor's office so I immediately liked that. Plus, it has all the attachments right in the back which means I can't lose them and I probably would have without the storage! So far, I only use the rectal attachment because my children are both under the age of two but I have had extremely accurate readings. I use this a lot, have had it a year and a half and have never had to replace the batteries. This is what I give to my friends who are expecting babies. I love this thermometer.
