Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Sure and Secure Double Bed Rail is incredibly functional. Both sides fold down for easy access to the bed or to change linens. It fits Twin to Queen sized mattresses. The two bedrails attach under the mattress for a more secure assembly with a simple connection mechanism that ensures a snug fit. The fabric and mesh construction is also easy to clean. Each panel measures 48?W x 20?H.

4 out of 5 stars Color dispute   October 3, 2008
M. Dobyns (Tulsa, OK)

Others have said this too and I don't have much to add. The color is not a soft pink. It's a coral pink. That was disappointing that the color on the picture is not accurate. As for the fit on a twin bed I felt like it fit fine on mine but everyone's bed is different so I think it just depends.

1 out of 5 stars Plastic failed in less than 2 years   June 30, 2008

I bought this bedrail for my 3 year old but before her 5th birthday, it experienced a catastrophic failure - the plastic broke right at the joint on the left side and the rail collapsed. Luckily, my daughter did not fall out of bed as a result. The sides do fold down, but you need two people to undo each side of the bed - one at the top end of the bed and one at the bottom, otherwise its nearly impossible to fold down alone as both pins need to be pulled out concurrently. I'm trying out a metal bedrail now from Regalo and it seems a lot sturdier. Its a hideaway rail, which is much easier to use than the "fold down" feature of this rail and to change sheets.

4 out of 5 stars A MUST!   February 1, 2008
Lisa-J (Huntington Woods,MI usa)
This has been a great product. Easy to put together and durable. Simple to use when making the bed, changing the sheets, etc. My three year old daughter often puts her weight against it when sleeping and it has never once fallen open. She is now 4 and I'm thinking of taking it away as she needs to learn to trust her own awareness of the edge of the bed. My only problem with this is aesthetically ..... the bed looks prettier without it! Safety outweighs aesthetics though when it comes to kids.

3 out of 5 stars Pink Bedrail   October 1, 2007

Was the perfect fit and easy to set up. Just what we wanted in a bedrail except the pink color was not as bright as we had hoped.

1 out of 5 stars It doesn't fit!!!!   April 28, 2007
a mom (Virginia, USA)
We purchased this item for the grandparent's house - and have since returned it, it was so very disappointing. After using the straps to secure the sides together (they EASILY slipped out if we didn't) the rails were almost unusable. A twin is a twin is a twin, but for some reason, the straps made the rails too small and they wouldn't fit the bed. They were so tight that the mattress was squeezed all out of shape, the rails were bending outward away from the sides of the bed (they should be upright, perpendicular to the floor), the boxspring was being mashed down where the under-matress arms were, and the letting-down mechanism would absolutely not work. I could barely get my fingers on it and when I could, they were so mashed against the mattress that they wouldn't function. This was not a new, large, or oversized mattress - it is a completely ordinary twin bed. The bottom-side to bottom-side dimensions (when strapped to one another) are not available on the box, so there is no way to see if your mattress will fit or not until you take the product out of the box and try it. I thought twin beds were a universal size, but perhaps not.
