Nice quality, love the color, not entirely practical June 16, 2008

I love the colors of this set! Our daughter is in our room for now and the colors match our bedset too, which is an added bonus.
I only had a couple of minor complaints about the set.
The blanket is pretty useless for now, except as a floor blanket, because of how thick and heavy it is. NO WAY that's going over the top of my baby. Perhaps a toddler would be able to safely use this to cover up with. Works nicely as decoration though.
The bumper pad ties don't line up properly with the rails of our crib, which gives it a bumpy uneven appearance.
All in all, I'd definatly still buy it again.
Such A Beautiful Bedding Set, Just a Couple Problems April 6, 2008

I really love this bedding set. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the fitted sheet and window valance from the set are not the best quality. As stated in my review of the sheet itself, it began to wear unreasonably and tear after just a few washes. As for the valance, my mother-in-law, a seamstress, added a liner to stiffen the back because she said it didn't lay correctly when hung. But other than the sheet and valance, the bedding set is great. I love the colors, I love how pretty and feminine it is without being too froofroo, I love how the set goes with our daughter's beautiful black crib and dresser and hutch. I also like how the set isn't too baby-ish. My daughter can continue to use the set well into her toddler years until we put her in a big girl bed.

I'm always a little nervous about buying bedding online for fear I won't like it when I actually see the product in person, but this one was NOT a disappointment at all! This bedding set is so beautiful and perfect for a little girl's room! The quality also seems to be quite good. I also love all the coordinating pieces!
I do agree with another reviewer that the red in it isn't super vibrant, but it looks perfect with the other colors in the quilt!
I would definitely recommend this bedding set to anyone!

I LOVE this set! I was looking for a nursery set for my little girl that wasn't TOO girly and this totally fits the bill! The colors are bold and perfect! The dragonflies are a nice touch and different from your usual litte girl decor. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that if you want to buy additional crib sheets, they are too expensive! I have white crib sheets to substitute, but they just don't fit her mattress the same as the original one. But other than that, her nursery is adorable!

I love the colors in this set as an alternative to your basic "gilry" pink. The red is a lot redder than you think and the green is not as "sage green" as it appears, but still very nice colors.
The only problem with this set is the window valance. I researched pricing on this set for quite some time before buying. There were no measurements available for the set itself (amazon.com only gives measurements of the actual bag the whole set comes in). I was under the assumption that the valance included in the set was the same size as the valance that is sold separately (70" x 14"), it is not. My window valance is only 57" wide and not near big enough for my window. I just opened my second 6-piece set, hoping that I just got an oddball valance, only to discover that it had the same size valance.
I maintain that this is a good deal and a wonderful set, however, if your windows are wider than 57" and want to hang a valance in your baby's room I suggest ordering the valance separately and finding a creative use for the smaller one included in this set. Lambs & Ivy Secret Garden Window Valance
