Organic Cotton bibs June 15, 2008 Josephine (Idaho) This was a perfect gift for the mother wishing to have soft, organic bibs. the color was perfect for disguising stains from baby food. There were a few loose pile threads which were easily trimmed. They was nicely and do not become hard or stiff when washed. I wish they did not come wrapped in plastic becuase they are going to a mother who wants environmentally and child safe items. It seems a little contrary to "organic"
Great For Drool, Bottle Feeding April 27, 2008 Pepper G. (New York, NY) We love these soft, terry bibs for our three month old baby. We love that they are reversible. We use them every time we bottle feed to gently catch the drips. The bibs are soft enough that we can wipe her face with them. I would not suggest them for children eating solids; the loosely loopy terry might not mix well with purees. But they are the right size for a small baby, perhaps up to a year who drinks from a bottle or drools a lot. They are soft, nicely unadorned, and the velcro is strong and substantial. The only complaint is that with velcro that strong, you cannot undo the bib with one hand and the sound of the velcro opening up can startle the baby if we go too fast. Some consumers complained that they don't wash well, but we have found them to wash well if we fasten the velcro before washing and/or putting them in a mesh bag with any other velcro items.
Great bibs February 23, 2008 C. Brown (Los Angeles, CA) I love that these are organic and for a good price. The velcro is really strong and they've held up getting washed over and over. The only thing is that they're not waterproof but waterproof bibs usually have plastic on the back so I prefer these.
Very absorbant bib for super-spitters February 15, 2008 Cullens_Girl (Germany) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these for my two month old who is a super spitter due to reflux issues. I purchased the natural style ones. They are holding up well after many washes. I advise closing the velcro closures or the velcro WILL snag the terry-cloth on the bibs causing them to fray more than just the normal wear and tear. These make great day time bibs, however we use Carter's waterproof dribble bibs for naps and bedtime when we sometimes have unexpected reflux episodes that soak through clothing.
Ok but not great January 7, 2008 F. Kenny 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These bibs are absorbent but after half a dozen washes the bibs are already falling apart. There are loose threads all over. The velcro is VERY strong so I suspect the fabric is getting shredding in the velcro teeth. I've found the velcro can also scratch the back of the baby's neck if you don't cover it completely. They're ok bibs but not great...
