| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Young engineers are sure to have hours of fun with this authentic-looking dump truck. Giant wheels make even the most rugged sites accessible. Indoors or out, the Mighty Truck gets the job done. Crafted in theTonka trucks tradition, this dump truck is made with steel, rugged plastic and guaranteed for life.
Editorial Review While many classic toys are now mass-produced using cheaper materials (primarily plastic), this Tonka truck's quality construction is preserved. Although the wheels and frame of this dump truck are made of plastic, it is of a heavy, durable weight and suitable for the muddy or wet territories that this truck is sure to encounter. The dump bed, however, is made of heavy-duty steel--just the way parents will remember this toy. This massive truck measures 18 inches long and is a hulking 11-1/4 inches tall with an enormous dump bed that can haul and dump overwhelming piles of dirt, cedar chips, or toys. A plastic handle on the front of the dump bed provides a sturdy grip for tilting the bed to drop a heavy load and ease the bed back to a horizontal position again. Rugged 6-1/2-inch tires enable this truck to scale (and potentially flatten) towering mountains of sand at the beach or rocky, mountainous terrain at the park. Tonka stand behind the durability of this toy by covering it with a full lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Big fun truck December 26, 2008 Avid Reader (Maine) Nice big truck. My son is 20 months old and very big for his age. He can sit in the truck bed and likes to be pushed around or he loads his toys in and takes them for a ride. Will be great in the sandbox this summer.
It's Mine! December 16, 2008 Lettie E. Osborne (Bixby, OK USA) My 27 month old grandson just went nuts over this dump truck. When his daddy was playing with it, he kept saying "It's Mine, daddy, It's Mine!" He just loves to play with all the mighty tonka trucks. They are very sturdy and well built, even with the plastic parts on them. Well worth the money spent! Great toys for tots.
Tonka = Gold December 12, 2008 Nathan Hackett (San Francisco) I bought this for my nephew for his 2nd birthday. i now mean nothing to him the world hierarchy in his head is now tonka truck mum/dad food rest of the world
Old School Cool! December 6, 2008 Curious Cat Just received this truck yesterday. I'm really impressed with its quality. Durable metal construction on the frame and bed. Overall impression of rugged build. Bright colors. I'm confident it will be a hit with my nephew. He'll be able to sit in the back of it, no problem. Worthy of a Tim the Toolman grunt. Kudos to Tonka.
dump truck review December 4, 2008 2boys (MN) This truck is very nice. Looks to be very well made with real steel, not plastic like so many other cheap toys these days. My boys haven't had a chance to really play hard with them but they are 12 months old and do like them a lot. This toy is nice because it encourages kids to use their imagination unlike so many of the new toys these days! Definatley looks well built and worth the money.
