My son loves this... December 28, 2008 Leah Kent 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before I had my son I was a nanny for a 3 month old little girl. As she grew she loved this mobile so much she would shriek at it and smile at it. So when I got pregnant I KNEW I would be buying this. It hasnt failed me. My son can spend 20-30 minutes in his crib "talking" to this mobile. He is nearly 3 months now. He started noticing it at about 4-6 weeks. my only c omplaint is that if I put him down for a nap and he opens his eyes instead of going back to sleep this thing can stimulate him awake again!! So I often remove it after he falls asleep ;) which is easy with the links... Definitely a bargain. It is a little flimsy howeer, I feel like I'm going ot break the cards when I change them, haven't yet though.
Difficult to change pictures December 23, 2008 J. Mallory (Grand Rapids, Mi) I like that this mobile is not over-stimulating like most mobiles. My daughter really enjoyed it from about one month old to four months old at which time she became disinterested. A major drawback for me is that it is very difficult to change the images. It takes time, effort, and sore hands to interchange the pictures. Overall, I would still probably prefer this mobile to more traditional mobiles that have loud music and less stimulating objects to look at, like small stuffed animals.
My twins love it December 14, 2008 Book Lover (MInneapolis, MN) My mother bought this mobile for my twins' crib because it actually faces down which is where the babies are and they both love it. I like the fact that you can swap out the designs since you should change things around about every week in order to create the optimal enriched environment for brain development. We're even going to hang the extra designs on the mobile above their swings. The bold designs are exactly what newborns need.
good buy December 1, 2008 laura Our baby liked this starting at 1 month. Our baby "talks" to the ones with faces and enjoys looking at the mobile for long periods of time! For the price it is a wonderful product. So simple, yet so effective at entertaining the baby!
This mobile saved my sanity! December 1, 2008 Miss Mimi's Mom (Dallas, TX) I cannot say enough good things about this mobile. My newborn daughter was mesmerized by it within the first month, and adored it up until this past month (she's 8 mos now). It also served double duty ... we taped some of the cards above her changing table and she would lie there and talk to her "friends" for literally 15 minutes at a time. I switched from b/w to color at about 2 months and she seemed to really enjoy the new scenery. The cards are a little flimsy so you have to be careful when switching cards so as not to tear the plastic. Other than that, I'm totally satisfied with this inexpensive toy that has provided hours of learning and entertainment for my daughter!
