Product Description Babysense V has very sensitive sensor pads, placed under the baby's mattress. These pads constantly monitor the baby's every movement. Registered by the high speed microprocessor control unit, movement triggers the flash of a green light. If movement stops for 20 seconds or if Babysense V detects less then 10 micro-movements per minute, an alarm sounds, a parent or caretaker will be able to come to the aid of the sleeping baby. The simplest most reliable monitor available, Babysense V alerts you with an alarm if it does not detect the baby's movement. Even the slightest body motions are registered as movement. These motion patterns trigger a flashing green light which can be clearly seen from a distance, providing you with peace of mind. A must for any parent, grandparent or day-care provider The simplest, most reliable movement monitor available Alerts you with an alarm if infant's movement stops or is irregularly slow Suitable for all infants from birth to one year of age Operates on regular AA household batteries so there are no dangerous power cords for the baby to find. Even the slightest body motions are registered as movement. Inexpensive peace of mind! Babysense V is a very sensitive device which monitors even the barely perceptible movements through the mattress during sleep... as a result of this sensitivity the Babysense V sensor pads may detect movement / vibrations from inside or outside your baby's room (fans, wind, loud music) and confuse them with baby's movement. Ensure that all vibration sources are removed before using the monitor. Avoid touching the monitor when in use or being checked. To eliminate possibility of exterior effects (wind, movement) and see that it is working properly, test your Babysense before first use (and every new setup) and periodically wherever it is used: TESTING: Check that when baby is in bed, the green light flashes. Remove baby from the bed and turn off Babysense. After turning off, wait a few mome

Good Night's Sleep, I love it 7-22-08 July 22, 2008 Bryan E. Heller With the birth of my first son we can sleep so much better knowing that we would be alerted if something was wrong. We use it for his naps and at night. I set the alarm off all the time. I picked him up to feed him and i forget to shut it off. I had no false alarms Its a Peace of mind knowing that i can sleep and do things around the house and know he is safe. love IT
Well worth the cost - great tool! June 12, 2008 K. Gray (Carmel, IN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We used this monitor from the first night home from the hospital until our son began sleeping in a regular twin bed. The monitor never activated while our son slept, thank goodness! It did activate when he climbed out of bed several times while we were asleep. I'm sure we would have eventually heard the pitter-patter of little feet, but it was sure nice to have a 30 second alarm... he couldn't get too far in that time. It was wonderful after a few weeks of peaking in and checking up on our son that we relaxed a little and were able to sleep when he did. Having the peace of mind that we had something to alert us to any potential problem was helpful. It didn't take the place of being diligent and making the crib a safe environment... it was another tool we could use to help make sure our son was alright when he was sleeping. I highly recommend this monitor, it is well worth the cost and worked perfectly for us for over 18 months.
Love this monitor June 4, 2008 K. Gray We first tried this monitor from friends of ours and loved it so we bought one of our own. The random light that tracks my son's movements and breathing assures me that any time I peak my head in to check on him that he is doing well.
Amazing product! May 11, 2008 Mommy of twins (Massachusetts) We bought these monitors for our newborn twins! Anyone with a baby needs should have this! I can't believe how well it senses even the slightest movements. It comes with 2 pads that go under the mattress, so it covers a large area. It is a must have item! It gives you piece of mind and a good night sleep! Buy this!! Great product!!
Just echoing others' recommendations February 23, 2008 J. Freeman (WNC) I gave this to my daughter for her newborn after my niece used one for her son who was born with wet lung. Even though my grandson is only 10 days old, my daughter has thanked me 15-20 times for giving it to her. She says that she can sleep better knowing this device really works. My niece still uses the one on her 2 year old's bed. She says she likes knowing when he's gotten out of his toddler bed.
