UNA GRAN COMPRA March 23, 2008 Haldor López Alba (Lima-Perú) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Thought video would be nice, but a little creepy... February 15, 2008 T. Frizzell (N. Waterboro, ME) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I also bought this through Sam's club, and have to say that the video quality is excellent, but there is a lot of audio interference, buzzing and clicking. So much so that I find by morning with the thing next to my head at night I have turned the volume down, and don't even know it. I at first thought the video would be a comfort over only having audio, but instead find myself waking periodically only to note tat the baby has not moved since I laid her down, or that she seems to be too still, and since she is not crying I want to go in and poke her just to be sure. If you are going to buy video I would buy one with excellent audio, so you can hear the baby breathing, otherwise video causes me way too much anxiety, and I can hardly hear on this one over the interference anyways.

We were extremely pleased with this monitor system and cannot fathom the negative reviews. We found this unit to be much better at avoiding interference than other units we had bought and returned. I suppose interference could be a problem in some places but we found the color to be clear and sharp and we love the remote control; we found the noise to be minimal and only when the camera moves vertically.
awful September 28, 2007 J. Corey (New York) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this monitor because I like the features it had. I does not work with batteries. I installed brand new batteries twice and the thing didnt work for more than a day. I don't know if its just a defect or it sucks up too much evergy. I have to plug it in, which defeats the purpose because I wanted to take it around with me, especially outside. It also make to much noise, too much interference and the sound quality is not good. I can barely hear my son cry over the interfernce. I can only use it pugged in, and only to see of he is standing up in his crib. Every other feature does not work. Not worth the money at all!!!
Great Product May 22, 2007 Rugby Ben (NEW YORK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was a little reticent to purchase this device based on the previous review. However, it was for my sister who is caring for our elderly mother who has Alztheimers and she wanted this unit. It turns out that it was a great decision. The unit is perfect for monitoring any mobile person, child or adult. The reception is great; both audio and visual are better than many other monitors and the pan and tilt camera is very responsive and quick. It does make a slight noise when it pans up and down but it hardly detracts from the overall quality and value of the monitor. In the end all I can say is that this is an excellent monitor system and well worth the expense. I really have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about."The Custodian." From Safe Baby. 2.5" Monitor with Wireless Tilt and Pan Camera
