We got our first puppy 30 years ago and have our newest ones now, so we have had ample opportunities to use numerous kinds of baby/puppy barriers, and this one is by far the best ever. It is solid, attractive, easy to install and supremely easy to use.
It has a very nice finish so that it is not a blight on the decor in use, unlike every baby gate I have ever seen.
It is so great to have something that keeps the puppies in yet allows the human residents easy access without having to step over (arms full of fresh laundry, perhaps) or disassemble. The one-touch gate really is one-touch, and it even swings both ways, which adds an extra element of ease.
I ordered the same gate in a wider version, and am looking forward to its arrival. I couldn't be happier with this product.

This is an excellent buy. It is attractive and very functional and well made. It was easy to install. The gate swings both directions which is certainly a plus.

I can honestly say that this is the best pet (baby in this case) gate I have ever seen, touched or used. It is secure, opens, closes and locks easily, looks great, and is very functional. This is the wider version of this gate. I also own the narrow version which is installed elsewhere in my house, and much prefer the larger one in the wider door/hall ways. This larger one I use at the enterance to my kitchen/living room from the front family/game room. It is more convenient being wider because it is easier to get groceries and such though without having to shuffle through the gate sideways. Great item!

This pet gate looks and functions great, we were using those ugly plastic baby gates and having to step over them all the time, and take them down to let the dogs through them put them back up.... Now we just have to open the door and we can leave the gate up all the time. We ordered two of these gates, on one of them the locking mechanism on the handle was broken, so I called up Richell and they sent me another handle no questions asked and it arrived withing a week.
