Product Description Dream Baby Hallway Security Gate A baby gate form Dream Baby is perfect for hallways, wide doorways and even stairs. It is easy to operate and the Hallway Security Gate features a one hand operation. The one hand operation allows the baby safety gate to opened easily with one hand while a parent is carrying a child or pet in the other hand or arm. The child safety gate also swings closed automatically which is a huge plus for parents in a hurry. It is important to remember to measure the area in which the gate is going to be used so that a proper fitment can take place. The baby gate from Dream Baby also features optional extensions which are sold separately. It allows the gate to expand to fit an opening over 63 inches in width. It is perfect for wide area. This baby safety gate is the perfect remedy for keeping pets out of unwanted areas as well.

| Customer Reviews:
Picture is not what you're buying--but what you're buying is a GREAT product! October 21, 2008 E. Groff 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Aside from the fact that the company selling this has yet to change the above picture to match the product they're selling, this is a great product and a great place to buy it. We currently have this gate in a 48" doorway, and our 20-month-old rather rambunctious daughter has yet to break out or tear it down. (Yes, of course, she has tried!) It was relatively easy to set up (probably easier than most of the baby toys I've put together). It is easy to get in and out of, mainly because the door swings both ways. I do not particularly love that the door is hinged with a spring, however; there have been some close calls with fingers almost getting pinched. The spring also makes it difficult to keep the door open without installing an eye hook in a nearby wall to attach it to with string (or, like us, those baby rings they sell for hanging baby items so that kids can't choke themselves with it). Still, I'm amazed at the gate's ability to withstand lots of abuse but still maintain top quality function. We chose not to screw it into the wall and only use the sticky pads that lock it in place when you're setting it up. I wondered if we'd regret that and end up taking it apart to screw it into the wall. It hasn't been an issue at all. The thing is just ridiculously sturdy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a gate for a wider doorway that is used frequently; it's well worth the money.
the Cadillac of baby gates July 20, 2008 krystav (Central Valley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have been using these gates for 18 months in 2 different houses and have been EXTREMELY happy with them. They open easily in either direction and swing securely shut. They look nice and they are very sturdy. These gates are not meant to come up and go down a lot -- installing is a little tedious because you have to adjust everything to be just so. This gate is worth the time though!
