Product Description The ConfigureGate 3-Piece Set allows you to configure the gate yourself, to fit odd-shaped rooms and non-standard doorways. The three 24-inch interlocking pieces easily adjust in 10-degree increments to fit most any space. The walk-through gate swings in either direction and features a convenient one-hand release. Constructed of sturdy tubular steel with a white non-toxic coating. Measures 29.5 inches high.
Editorial Review This large, custom-designed gate lets babies and toddlers roam free in a large section of the home, while still protecting them from dangerous or unsupervised areas. The set comes with three interlocking sections, each one measuring 29 inches high and 24 inches long. The idea is to lock the sections together in a bendable configuration that fits an area of your home (additional sections are available). In order for the gate to be secure, it must be attached to wall-mount fixtures (included). Be prepared for about a half-hour of setup time. Keep in mind that this is not a gate that simply folds up accordion-style. It may be easier to keep the gate assembled than to constantly unlock the hinges and fold the sections together. Fortunately, it comes with an adult-access, walk-through gate, so it won't impede the traffic flow of grownups. For ages 6 to 36 months. Comes with a one-year limited warranty. --Hannah Reynolds

Great wide area gate for large dogs! September 19, 2008 M. Kropp (Arizona) I bought this gate with the 24" extension for our new home. I wanted to be able to keep our 11 year old Golden Retriever and 3 year old Black Lab out of the carpeted areas when we were not home. We just moved in and even before we mounted the gate we set it up using boxes as braces so we could take it down easily when we were moving furniture and it worked great. We now have it mounted and I see it can still be removed easily. It has worked very well to keep the dogs off the carpets and new furniture when we are not able to supervise them. They still have a large tiled room to roam at will and respect the gate barrier. I would recommend this gate to anyone as it is easy to install and use. My only wish is that the swing gate would be a little wider.
Excellent Gate! September 5, 2008 B. Kosanic (Bayard,WV) This gate is great! It is very solid and very easy to attach to walls etc.. It accomodates almost any space and is very nice to look at. I recommend this gate for anyone that needs a gate around a fireplace or other large area where a traditional gate wont fit.
Great gate! August 16, 2008 K. Drake (IN USA) We bought this gate 3 years ago when our youngest child began crawling. We needed it for the top of our stairs, which had a metal banister that was hard to connect a gate to securely. So, we needed a gate that would be straight next to the banister then bend to meet the wall beyond the stair landing. This is the only one I found that worked for such a project. Now, we will be using it in a different house to go across the landing of our tri-level home, to block off two stairways for our second child. It certainly is adaptable. I only wish there were smaller extensions available. Still, I highly recommend this product for hard-to-secure areas.
Excellent and secure option! June 21, 2008 Banco De Venezuela We have a 7 month old baby and we decided to purchase a Kidco configure door with andextension and we are really pleased with our decision. It's easy to use and very secure. I recomend it a 100 %!
Great for dogs.... May 28, 2008 Teresa Clow (Columbus, Ohio) I researched several gates before deciding on this one. We have three dogs and foster others as well. We were using regular gates and had to continually step over them. It is so nice to have a door now to walk thru the gate instead of stepping over. The gate was easy to install (once I figured out how to bend the gate) and it's also easy to remove. The product is very nice and although I usually try to find everything at a bargain, I broke down and bought this gate because it just seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, and it was. Well worth it. Everyone who comes over says it's a very nice gate, I have recommended to others already. I am not looking to buy the kidco center gate with door for the other side of the room! I am very satisfied with this purhase.
