| Customer Reviews:
Easy, looks great, and does what it claims January 27, 2008 Naomi's mom (Sunnyvale, CA USA) I normally procrastinate when it comes to installing/testing/opening delivered products. However, with just one screw, how hard or time consuming could it be for these insulated outlet covers? Sure enough, installation was a breeze. The backside of the plate is molded to guarantee a perfect alignment of the outlet holes every time. While the plate has the same length and width dimensions as a standard plate, it is a little deeper so it comes with a longer screw. It looks good too... very white, smooth, not too boxy and the screw as well as the slider plates have a flush finish with the rest of the plate. It's easy getting the plugs in and out and the slider snaps shut very quickly. You can buy it in bulk directly from the seller's website for a substantial discount.
Well worth the money! October 3, 2007 JudyV (McDonald, PA) I love these! I have replaced every oulet cover in my home with these. I tried using the plastic plugs but they were to difficult to pull out. I had to use something to pry them out.
Too Expensive June 25, 2007 K. Clark 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I just recently went through researching all of these baby proofing products to figure out what I wanted to use for my home. I knew that I wanted the complete outlet cover, not just the little plastic plug in things and I purchased the kind that the outlet twists when you put in a plug and then when the plug is pulled out, it twists back to a closed position. I purchased these at my local hardware store (i.e. HOme Depot, Lowes) for only about $2 a piece - a huge savings considering I have about 40 outlets I and covering. The maker is Safety 1st. They are so easy to install, even with my little 10 month old crawling around "assisting" me! The one thing I did notice is that if I over tighten the screw, the thing won't spring back into place easily (it gets stuck on the backside somehow I guess)...so just be aware no to over-tighten. The outlet cover has already worked for me. My daughter unplugged a cord from the outlet and then proceeded to grab at the holes, but luckily it is closed and she is safe.
everyone with kids needs these for their homes!! January 6, 2007 Amy S. Pederson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
they are so easy to install and work so much better than the ones you just stick in the plug and are easier too!!
