Product Description All those plugs behind your PC naturally invite a child's exploration. Prepare now with this terrific safety cover, which fits easily around most standard single-row power strips and surge suppressors. No unplugging required! Just open the top, pop in the strip and snap the case shut. A separate, hinged door covers the power switch for adults-only access. 15"L x 3.25"W x 3.5"D.

My cat can no longer turn off the TV! October 19, 2008 New Yorker with cat This product is doing exactly what I wanted it to -- keep my cat from jumping on the off switch of my power strip and turning off the TV, cable box, etc, all in one blow. This was the biggest power strip cover that I could find, and does indeed fit over my plugs with AC adaptors. Very satisfied.
Not so great October 10, 2008 A. Crossman (Seattle, WA) We have two power strip covers at our house--one by safety 1st and the other by Mommy's Helper. The Safety 1st cover far exceeds the quality and durability of the Mommy's Helper cover (whose buckles looked like they might break if opened too often.) I like the Safety 1st cover because it allows for adjustability in length and is very wide inside, as well as looking quite sturdy. Wish I had purchased the Safety 1st version first, I never would have ordered this one.
Does it's job well July 13, 2008 R. Ciccarone We've had this power strip cover for about a month now. So far we've been really happy with it. It has kept my 1 year old from playing with the power strip. It's less intriguing to him now that he can't see the lighted switch to turn it off and on.
Too Small April 2, 2008 Linc's Mom (Washington) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have several different types of power strips in my house, and this thing is too small for all except one of them. I bought two of these and I cannot use the second one now, and I don't know what to do about the 3 power strips in my house that will not fit. Also, you cannot have anything with a large plug, or it won't shut (for example, my iPhone plug won't fit). I wish it was just a little bit larger. It is hard to open, but I guess that's good. The picture with the product open is deceptive, there is no way a big AC converter plus would fit inside this thing.
Great Idea February 18, 2008 L. Boender (Sun Valley, ID) I am so glad someone came up with something like this. The only thing I didn't realize is it's only big enough for the long skinny power strips. I didn't realize it until I was about to use it. No big deal though, just had to change my power strip to a long skinny one.
