Love them, moved with them, need help, please! October 4, 2008 Sea for Me (Seattle, WA) Great product that gives me a sense of safety no matter how much my little guy tries to climb. We just moved & I want my sense of safety back. I took the wall portion off of the wall, but can't recall the rules about where I should drill into the wall. The website doesn't have the instructions available for download. Can anyone help me out? Thanks! PS - When my son was two, he opened all six drawers on his double dresser and the thing fell over when he opened the last drawer. We were blessed that he was standing to the side of the dresser. These straps prevent any such possible tragedies. Highly recommend!
Great August 15, 2008 Brian Fox (Milwaukee, WI) I am so happy to have these. My husband said they were easy to install, too.
Wall Straps Work Great June 27, 2007 C. Boles 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Hardest part was finding the wall stud - straps installed easily and are adjustable. We used it to attach a 6' bookcase in our toddler's room. Would definietely recommend these.
Easy to install January 31, 2007 Ryan Brown (Philadelphia, PA USA) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a good thing to make your home safer for your kids. This is a pretty boring product, but everything worked just fine.
If you have children (or earthquakes) consider this! January 31, 2006 W. Davis-Thrash (Mesa, AZ) 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
We have these straps all over our house (on every piece of furniture taller than two feet), because we have two "climbers." There have been two occasions that I know of where these saved my eldest daughter from injury, as she climbed large pieces of furniture. The hardest part of installing these is finding them. We searched several local stores, with little luck - and a few odd looks, as salespersons didn't understand why we would want to strap our furniture to the walls when we don't live in an earthquake zone. But trust me, once you find somewhere that sells them, buy them up. Once you see how well they work, you will become addicted to testing to see if you can tip your furniture - and will want them everywhere.
