Product Description
The Summer Infant Rite Temp Baby Bath Shower is great for rinsing baby off. Why rinse them with soapy, dirty bath water when a clean reservoir is readily available? This baby bath accessory provides a spray of clean water to rinse off baby. The large reservoir can store a perfect amount of water which makes cleaning baby a cinch. There is a temperature strip to notify the parents if the water is too hot. Ergonomic shower handle is comfortable to grip Large reservoir opening is easy to fill by simply positioning the water pump under the tub faucet Color changing temperature strip at bottom of reservoir indicates if water is too hot

2 out of 5 stars Wish it worked better   July 21, 2008
M. Crespo (Orlando, FL United States)
We bought the tub that brings this item and were very excited to use it, at first everything seemes great but the more you use it the more the batteries waste and therefore the flow of water decreases. I think this item is a great idea but it only works well the first day you put new batteries in it. Every day after that, your flow actually slows you down and it becomes quite frustrating. I've stoppped using it because I'm tired of wasting money on the batteries that give you a good flow for only one day and it took me much longer to bathe my baby with this shower than to just use a bucket of water and wash cloths. I was very dissapointed because we bought the tub specifically for this item and both have pretty much been a waste of money.

1 out of 5 stars worthless item... waste of money!   July 20, 2008
Shalini Priyadarshini (Sunnyvale, CA USA)
Sounds like a great idea. It came with the bathtub we bought. The water flow is like a trickle and even for that you have to apply very hard constant pressure. Now it uses 4 batteries... Iam not sure what they are doing there?

I wish I could return the whole thing but I had already been using the tub for a couple of months before my baby got big enough to use the shower. So i am stuck with something I didn't use at all.

1 out of 5 stars Can't get it to work   February 1, 2008
NYMommy (Manhattan)
I am now on my 3rd one of these. I bought 1, it didn't work and exchanged it, and then that one didn't work (I got 1 drop of water to come out) so I called Summer Infant. They sent me a new one in the mail, and that doesn't work either! If someone out there has any suggestions, please let me know! The concept is great...once mine works I can tell you if I like it.

1 out of 5 stars Piece of junk   October 1, 2007
MB (Washington, DC)
The battery powered pump slowly dribbles water out with very little pressure. My baby has a lot of hair and after 3 minutes of trying to rinse out the shampoo we have abandoned it in favour of a water jug. At 3am last night I stubbed my toe on it as I went to the bathroom in the dark. I cannot fully describe my anger at this piece of junk.

2 out of 5 stars The idea was good but this needs to be improved.   July 13, 2007

Our 6 month-old loves showers: it is like "rain" and she tries to catch it. Unfortunately our bathtub doesn't come with one.

This item is a really good idea because it gives you an average temperature of the water and can hold a good amount of it.

The problem is that you need to hold the button pretty hard to get the water and then the pressure is really really low... So it is a bit difficult to rinse my daughter.

Actually, I stopped using it as a shower and it became a bucket that holds clean water to rinse her after her bath: it is now not a cheap bucket...
