The best! November 4, 2006 Veronica Livescu (Los Alamos, NM, USA) I only give this product 4 stars because of the length issue, as mentioned also in other reviews. My table has a perimeter of 175" and the medium was too large. But I cut it and stitched back together and it works very well. My table is 2" thick and it fits great (see image). Good quality product and easy to remove and wash if needed. Great idea, since the adhesive foams available in the stores do not stay put. My eight months old was able to peel them off without effort.... He is now 15 months old, we had the bumper for 7 months and it still looks like new. I totally recommend it.
Problems with Pulling off August 14, 2006 Michelle (San Diego, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this product, but we had problems with my son pulling it off, becuase it was too big for our table. So we actually found another product called ABC Fun Pads, We love it. Our son couldn't pull it off, and it actually covers the whole table and is padded throughout , so when he drives his cars on it or bangs them on the table, my table doesn't get scratched or dented......check them out.
Size looked much smaller online July 13, 2006 Kyrsten Johnson (Pasadena, CA United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this bumper because the user-submitted photo made it look like it would fit our coffee table, but it is MUCH bigger than our average coffee table. There was no SMALL size for this item, either, which led us to believe it would fit a standard size table. We decided to make-do, and I cut out about 1/3rd of the length and stapled it (with wrapping tape for cover) so it would fit finally. Then we had a working bumper!
no more bumps June 30, 2006 N. Hegarty (new york) very happy with table edge bumper my daughter is just standing up now and of course loves standing up at our point edge coffe table she had gotten a few bumps when we found the table edge bumper and since putting it on no bumps so we are all happy x x x x
nice, but has it's problems March 1, 2006 A wife and mother (Twin Cities, MN) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought both the small and med bumper to see which would fit my 150" coffee table with very sharp edges. The small would not fit at all. And the med was too big, the long sides hung down. I ended up taking apart the med sz bumper and removing apx 20". It was difficult and not a job for a beginner sewer and it was difficult to get through the sewing machine. I also used a needle for sewing leather. The fit is now as tight as it can be. But even so, the bumper on the long sides of the table can still be pulled down by the baby. She grabs it to pull herself up and then wobbles by the table holding the bumper just waiting to wack the table with her face. Well at least the corners are protected. My last complaint is that it is very ugly. So I sewed a fabric sleeve to cover it. I couldn't separate the bumper (even when I took it apart to make it smaller because I couldn't sew through the bunge cord on the inside to secure it) so I had to sew the sleeve around the bumper. Difficult and a pain in the butt, but not impossible. It looks one hundred times better now. I sewed a brown fabric on it so it blends in well with my mission style coffee table. It's way better than ugly grey vinyl!! Would I do this all over again. Probably yes because for the most part, unless baby is in the very middle of the long edge of the table it does protect her, BUT I'd definately complain about having to go through it all again.
