Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Avent pacifiers are designed with the same high safety standards as the entire Avent Natural Feeding System. As recommended by pediatricians, our pacifier nipples are symmetrical, so right side up or upside down, Avent pacifiers ensure the proper development of your baby's teeth and gums. Ensuring the safest standards, the whole pacifier, not just the nipple, is larger at every new stage. The face plate prevents chafing because it is flat, not curved, and has vents to allow air circulation, which also keeps moisture from building up on baby's delicate skin. Avent pacifiers have a snap-on cap that keeps the nipple clean, so you can just throw it in a bag and go. Vented orthodontict clear silicone nipple specially designed to ensure natural development of teeth and gums Ring handles for safety Carrying case for easy traveling conforms to US CPSC standards

5 out of 5 stars Awesome product!   August 7, 2008

Love these pacifiers! Who cares if they're made of BPA?! It's not like nipple is made of BPA; it is made of SILICONE. I guess I don't even need to mention that the recent BPA scare has been debunked...no big surprise here. I don't think your children will suffer any ill-effects from the BPA in these pacifiers because they're probably not super-heating them with their mouths, and they're probably not strong enough to chew off chunks and swallow them. I don't know how I ever survived off of formula heated in the microwave in a BPA bottle with a rubber nipple. The nerve of my mother!!! Get real! These are a great product! They don't leave marks or cause rashes. Plus, they come with a cover, so I can carry several spares in my bag without having to wipe off the nipple after I pull them out of the diaper bag.

5 out of 5 stars Very Clever idea.   March 21, 2008

These pacifiers come with a clip on cover. I can attach them to my son with a pacifier saver and they stay clean even if they fall on the floor. My son is suffering with a little rash around his mouth because he is drooling so much and there is even one design that allows for extra air flow because of this. My first son used the same product 13 years ago and I think they are the best.

1 out of 5 stars Contains BPA/ Bishpenol A I'm Returning All Avent Products!   January 23, 2008

Just wanted to inform all parents out there that this product contains BPA/ Bisphenol A. I returned mine. Pacifiers, bottles, breast pumps can have BPA in them as well such as the AVENT products that I returned. I then decided to go with Born Free bottles and sterilizer,Soothie pacifier and the Gerber Nuk pacifiers, and Medela pump. All their products are BPA Free. You do the research and decide if you will buy or continue to use their products. I've already written the President, my senators, and Oprah. Hopefully together we can keep our children safe.
