my favorite baby shower gift October 21, 2008 Mary A. Nef 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE this product!!! My daughter has been afraid of the dark as long as I can remember. What I love is that this can go with us anywhere. It has been wonderful on vacations, grandparents stays, car rides, hospital stays; basically anywhere dark. We use the yellow, which I think casts a very natural light. She sleeps with it at her head every night. It's become my standard baby shower gift and I get many kudos from new mom's that don't want to turn on the light at night, but want enough light to attend to their baby. Only complaint, after two years of excessive use, it doesn't stay lit as long. But we still get a good 8 hours out of it every night. Just remember to recharge it immediately each morning.
color of light too much... September 7, 2008 Nicole Wintermyer (alameda, ca) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i recently purchased the blue light and while it's pretty...after being in the room about 7 minutes, it just really started to bother me. it's like having a red light...too much colored light...perhaps the green and pink are more mild.
Love it August 21, 2008 Elizabeth F. Robbert (lizzyfit) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We have had "green guy" for several years now and it is amazing. She can fall asleep with it in bed and we don't have to worry about it getting hot and catching on fire or harming her. It has become a big part of our bedtime routine.
Daughter stays in her bed now! July 27, 2008 W. Ramsey (Texas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 2 year old daughter was going through a rough phase where she didn't sleep through the night. She'd wake up screaming, and was unconsolable unless I was either laying in bed with her, or she was in bed with me. I was talking to my sister one day about this, and she mentioned these little lights that the kids could hold with them in bed! I researched it, and found that the Mobi Tykelights were very safe, and came highly recommended by parents of all ages of kids! So, I purchased one, and since the first night we had it, my daughter has not screamed for me at night. She calls it her "go buddy" (glow buddy), and gets it every night before she goes to bed. The pros to this light are obvious: they're durable, kid friendly, do not get hot-to-touch, and come in a variety of fun colors (we have the pink, and it works great). The only con is that I have to remember to plug in in every day around lunch time so it can get its 8 hours of charge time each day. But, considering what it has done to help our family, it's well worth the effort! I'll be getting another one of these for my son when he moves to his big-boy bed!
love it July 9, 2008 Jessaca Archer Mckay (new england) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
was looking and looking for night lights. Used a few different ones and did not like them. Found this one on-line decided to give it a try. So I bought 2. One for my son and one for my daughter. They loved them. They have dimmers and timers. They are easy to use. The pink is not as bright as the blue. Very durable. They have fallen down stairs and been put in mouths. I plan on buying more for other parts of the house. Great product.
