This item is terrible. My infant son was able to peal it off & still chew on the crib rail in the first week. We had to tie it down with plastic ties. Unfortunatelly you cant return this item.

this product is great, my son loves biting his cribrail but then there are chips on the rail, which could be dangerous for baby. now that I put this on my baby's crib,I don't have to worry about him biting on the rail without ruining the paint.

Twin Mom
We followed the directions exactly, even cleaning the wood with alcohol and letting it set. Sure enough, the next morning part of the protector was already starting to lift off.

I bought several products to prevent my son from ingesting wood from the rail of the crib--and this one was the winner--it stays adhered to the rail better thank any of the rest. I would highly recommend it.
