| Customer Reviews:
Nice stroller November 10, 2008 dunkalicious I bought this for our twin boys, aged 14 months. We own two other strollers, one side-by side from Peg Perego, another graco metro, front-back style. For many functions this one is superior. Advantages: Easy to turn, easy to push, feels very light, good to run with. Turns on a dime compared with other models I have used. Both boys get to see the scenery (I think the ones with the back seat as an afterthought for the younger kid are really unfair). Good storage underneath the stroller. Disadvantages: Hard to get through some store doors. After running for 3 days in a row with this I developed carpal tunnel syndrome, the stroller materials do give good directions for avoiding this though they didn't work for me so I no longer run with it. Never used the stroller strides package...nor has my wife. Fairly difficult to fold up...not so much in terms of the actual folding, but the storage is awkward...doesn't fit easily in the back of my Honda CRV...it fits, but manipulating it to get the front tire in is difficult. Side wheels do pop off easily. Overall I think this model is excellent and hard to beat in terms of the competition. For day to day errands etc. I think it's a bit too big to be functional, and I didn't have much luck running with it but I think walking with for exercise it is fantastic.
WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! September 10, 2008 Shanna Szymczak (San Antonio, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well after doing months of research and asking every mom I saw with a double stroller I decided to take the plunge and get the BOB and boy am I glad I did!! This thing is amazing! We are expecting our second son in November and since we will have 2 boys under 2 years I knew a double stroller was in my future. First things first, I was very worried that it would not fit thru doorways being that it looks really wide and guess what... I was pleasantly surprised when every shop I went into I had no problems. It is so easy to push and steer (I borrowed a friends son for a test run). I have even taken my son out by himself in it and there was no instability at all. It was so easy to put together and I love the red. It's very visible and when my son saw it he thought it was a new toy for him! It's nice that the handle bar console does come with this one. My husband said that the infant car seat adapter wasn't exactly easy to put on but I didn't hear any yelling or tools being thrown while he was doing it. We will now have to purchase a new infant car seat to use with this stroller because our Chicco doesn't fit on anything other than a Chicco stroller. I did find that the Peg Perego infant car seat fits the best. Like everyone says, it is heavy, but it is a double stroller, and yes the basket underneath is tiny, but my husband hopes this will help curb my shopping. My son is so comfortable in it and knowing that I will have 2 little maniac boys I am glad I will be able to have them restrained and comfy when we are out and about.
Top quality stroller worth every penny July 10, 2008 Cowgirl_Mom 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best stroller I have ever owned. I thought the seats would be a little bigger. I can fit up to 4 kids in it if they sit in the foot area. My kids love it and everywhere we go people talk about it. Comes with exercise bands and drink holders. We fit in the mall just fine with it and its so perfect for Disney World. I wouldn't recommend it for Walmart type stores. One draw back we found it the material holds heat. The sun beats down on it and it gets hot in the seats. We solved this with a piece of white material on the top and clip on stroller fans. Also sometimes put ice packs in the holder behind the seat. We just are outside in Florida a lot with this so that's why it gets so hot
Best Stroller Ever!!!! November 4, 2007 S. Fix 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
We purchased this stroller 6 months ago, and I wish I would have bought it years ago. I have two 3 year olds, and you can't even feel them in the stroller. It is so easy to push, it's amazing. I have even had my 10 year old neice and 3 year old neice ride in it along with my kids. You could honestly put 4 kids in it, two in the seats and two on the foot rest. Our small dog even gets in it with all of them. We get asked all the time if the stroller was built so our dog could ride in it. He sits perfectly on the foot rests. The Bob Double Stroller can get through any door,(I have no idea how they designed it that way) and turn on a dime. It also folds up really easy and fits in the back of your car just like any other stroller. The only negative comment I have, is the color fades pretty fast. Mine is still bright red, but has faded since I am always out walking in the sun. If you are an active Mom or Dad and do a lot of outside activities with your kids, save your money and buy this one. My husband and I always say, "this was one of the best investments we ever made!!"
