not very user friendly September 4, 2008 EB (Glen Ridge NJ) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This seems like it should be fantastic, and my toddler is thrilled to jump on. Unfortunately, you can't push the stroller and walk properly with this thing attached to the stroller. It hits your feet, so you have to walk awkwardly on the side of the stroller. You also have to hang on very tightly to the stroller and your toddlers hands, otherwise the entire stroller tips backward.
Alternative to double stroller June 9, 2008 Beverly Hills mother 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the wheeled board for my 2 1/2 year old. She loves to ride on the board and does not want to get off. The only down side is that it is very difficult to walk behind the stroller. I find myself and my husband both having to walk to the side. Another review mentioned the same thing. The board does work with the bassinet. I have the Frog.
Great product, not great for the Frog January 13, 2008 Mac123123 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My 2.5 year old loves riding on the board. We use it with a carseat, and she loves being able to look at her baby sister and talk to us without yelling and craning her head back. It is very sturdy and smooth, goes over curbs fine (we live in NYC.) The problem is that we have a Frog and the board sticks way out, making it impossible to walk normally at all. You have to walk to the side of the stroller, pushing with one hand. Do not get this if you have a Frog. I'm looking into getting a stroller handle extender (saw another Bugaboo with one) so I hope that will solve the problem. I'm disappointed in Bugaboo, though.
Great Alternative to a Bulky Double Stroller August 16, 2007 Little Lana's Mommy (NYC) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
My DD was 2 yrs and 4 months when our 2nd child was born. I walk everywhere and really did not want to walk everywhere pushing a 30 lb. double stroller. As a NYC mom I didn't want to get a huge double stroller that wouldn't fit through store aisles or turn easily through elevators or maneuver through doorways. So I decided to try out this wheeled board instead. I figured my oldest was old enough to stand for shorter trips, and any time I was walking long distances I would probably have my husband around anyway so if needed we could always take a small little umbrella stroller for her. We have used the wheeled board for 10 months now, and honestly I have never felt the need to take an umbrella for my oldest. She loves standing on her board. It looks like its really fun, I wouldn't mind getting a ride on one! I think its a great transition for her before I force her to walk everywhere. It gives her some exercise by making her stand, but its definitely easier for her than walking would be. I have the chameleon, so I hike up the handle bar all the way to give her more room. (My husband and I are both tall, so we would probably do this anyway.) It is so easy to push. I don't have a problem kicking my feet on the board. (This was my main concern before I got the board.) Even when I drop off my oldest at camp, I usually just leave the board down since its so non-interfering with my stride. That being said, its super easy to fold it up and get it completely out of your way too. The only negative to having the board on the stroller is that it somewhat makes access to the basket a little harder. But its really not too bad. I ALWAYS get comments from other parents asking me about it. I have seen so many parents holding their oldest child's hand while pushing a snap n go and struggling. I however, just tell my oldest child to jump on and away we go! (Much faster than waiting for a toddler to walk!) I highly recommend this wheeled board! Save yourself the aggravation and space of a double stroller and BUY THIS!!!
Makes me want to stroll... just because! April 16, 2006 M. Burnett (new york, new york United States) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Fantastic... easy to assemble. My [...] loved the new toy. He didnt ask me to pick him up once in 2 hours! & my [...] didnt notice him at all. Yes! it even works with the bassinet attachment. ( i thought it wouldn't be long enough) obviously it's too expensive for what it it ( a piece of plastic)... but i am a sucker for good design & convenience. I didnt want to get a double stroller - as i think that 2/3 year olds should be walking when they can..a dbl stroller does not encourage this. I will feel less guilty sending the two of them out to the park with grandma now!
