Product Description The Schwinn Safari TT Double Stroller with "Turn Technology" combines the versatility of an all-terrain stroller with the maneuverability of a conventional stroller. The Safari has a unique swivel front wheel for easy mobility and no fuss jogging that locks in place for rolling over difficult terrain. Best Jogging Stroller I've Ever Driven July 1, 2008 Johanna Parker (Boston, MA) I love this stroller! I've been using it with my babies since they were very small. It was great for them when they were infants, and now that they are 19mo old they are perfectly happy in it still. Some say that they can't sit up straight in it, but mine hold onto the bar in the front and are happy to sit up and look at all of the "bow wows" and other babies passing by! This stroller is so easy to drive. I can push it with one hand while walking the dog with the other and walking through busy city streets. It does fit through all standard doorways, although it's a tight fit. There have been only 2 doorways we've ever not been able to go through.
great double stroller September 5, 2007 Georgia Mom (Augusta, GA USA) I purchased this stroller so that I could walk my kindergartener to school with her two brothers, ages 1 and 3. The stroller is very light and easy to push and the boys seem very comfortable in it. The only possible problem is that the seats are sort of small, so I am not sure I'll still be able to use it when my older son's legs are longer (right now they hang down off the foot rest if he's not sitting all the way back in the seat). I have used it in the malls as well, and while it is difficult to navigate most stores, it is sooo much easier to push than the tandem stroller we have. I am really happy with this stroller so far!
Great Stroller for Dirt Roads & Snow May 8, 2007 D. Griffin (Pinedale,WY USA) We live in a remote town in Wyoming, where there is lots of snow and dirt roads. This stroller has done very well for us. Even after the snow began to melt this spring and turned the dirt into mud, the stroller was easy to stroll. Assembly was easy (and I'm not mechanically inclined). Both seats can recline independently and there is plenty of storage in the baskets. The kids love sitting next to each other. I recommend buying a cover for the stroller that protects against sun and wind, making for a more enjoyable ride for the kids. I haven't attempted it, but it looks as though this would be too big to take shopping. But, it's a great outdoor stroller.
too hard to return.... January 16, 2007 Kelly A. Hudak when we recieved this stroller, we realized that it didn't fit through any doorways.... something important for this purchase as we already owned a double. we called to return and it was so hard to return, we decided to keep it. the stroller is great, although the kids can not sit upright, they have to be in a leaning back position. from now on, we will just go to a store!
best ever November 11, 2006 Che- (RI) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have had many stroller over the span of the last 7 years and 3 children and this is the best one yet. So easy to push and isn't so wide that you can't fit through the doorway but wide enough so the kids don't fight. My oldest even jumps on the front wheel cover (I know he shouldn't but what are you going to do) and I can comfortably push all three. love it. love it. love it. Get this stroller if you are looking for one.
