AWESOME!!! March 5, 2007 Daniella Zuniga-Salinas (Corpus Christi, TX) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We were looking for a light sturdy stroller for our 1yr old to have for trips to the mall, baseball games etc.. We tried the Pliko Lite and fell in love with it in an instant. It reclines so if he gets sleepy I can lay him down. The sun canopy is large enough and I have mastered the one handed fold which makes getting in an out of the car alot faster. It has a back pocket with a zipper on the back of the canopy that I have used for my cell phone, extra diapers, a baggy with wipes and a bottle of water. The basket at the bottom isn't large and I have to get to it through the front of the stroller but thats just a minor thing everything else about it is great. I would highly recommend this stroller.
Love it! June 19, 2006 M. Shirley 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I ditched my Mosaic travel system (piece of junk) for the Pliko Lite and I think it was one of the better baby gear decisions I've made! We made the switch at 4 months so the only problem was that I didn't have a Peg car seat to use with the stroller but we went right in like a "big girl" and haven't had any problems. What I love: 1. Seriously how cute is it? No hokey plaid or teddy bears here! 2. Very lightweight and easy to carry and fold. 3. Love the storage pocket on the hood. Perfect for my wallet, sunglasses, keys and whatever else I need to store and access quickly. The storage basket is fine for me, I can stow the diaper bag and some shopping bags without a problem. I usually throw my wallet in the storage pocket so I can grab it without bending down to get in the basket. You basically have to trade off the large easily accessible storage basket if you want a lightweight, portable, umbrella fold stroller. This storage pocket really helps bridge that gap. What I'd change: 1. I'd love to have a more substantial cupholder. This one is fine and works for me but it won't hold more than a water bottle or small drink cup. It's probably because this stroller is Italian and Europeans don't slurp down 64 ounces of their favorite beverages as Americans are known to do! 2. It would be great if the seat harness was adjustable. The straps lie along the sides of my daughters face since we have her in the seat at a younger age. She is secure and she actually likes to chew on them but it just doesn't look that comfortable (she's never complained though). Great stroller - very manuverable in stores and restaurants. Worth the extra bucks because you won't need to trade in a big bulky system for an umbrella stroller later. This is the ONE stroller that will take you through the first few years of your baby's life. If only they made a double stroller version!
GREAT STROLLER! June 13, 2006 Lana M. Ambrose 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is an awesome stroller. Before I had this stroller I had the Graco quatro and I did like that stroller but it was sooo big. The pliko lite is about half the wieght and a lot better looking. Here are the pros 1. It is extremely light weight 2. It folds compactly 3. It maneuvers great 4. The wheels aren't huge 5. It has this zipper storage compartment for keys, diapers, cell phone, etc. (the Pliko P3 doesn't even have this!!!) 6. It is less expensive than the Pliko P3 7. OK... even though the Pliko strollers have a lot of bad reviews for the not easy access to the basket this is my opinion.... If your child is completely reclined in a Graco stroller or your infant car seat is snapped into a Graco (or most other strollers) you can't get to the basket whatsoever. In this stroller you can always get to your basket (from the side) and I think people are just not use to that. Ok Cons... 1. There is no cup holder or snack tray for your child (most kids aren't that great about keeping there stuff there anyway) 2. The parent cup holder would not hold a large drink 3. Unlike the Pliko P3 this hood does not come down completely so in the late afternoon when the sun is setting it would shine on your child (unless you have the car seat snapped in then both canopys meet) But overall it's cute and functional. My son and husband love it
