4 out of 5 stars Comfy Travel   July 10, 2008

C1 Notting Hill is a wonderful pattern and gender neutral color...the pic on amazon doesn't do it justice. We didn't use this stroller as our infant travel system because we received a Safety 1st travel system as a baby shower gift. Now that my little pumpkin is almost 9mos we broke out with our Chicco C1. It is very easy to open and close...has great recline and handles beautifully on most terrains. Our little pumpkin is very comfy in it due to the comfy padding on the seat and the sides when she falls asleep. I only gave it four stars...due to the under storage compartment...not all diaper bags will fit easily...and the wheel base is very close together...not good for joggers...keep this in mind. And the handles would be better if they were able to be raised for taller people to grip. Also, the cup holders are tiny...only fit narrow water bottels and sippy cups:o(boo...Other than that it is an excellent stroller...The canopy is amazing and provides tons of shade...it also has a full recline...for our little pumpkin to sleep comfortably:o)HTH

4 out of 5 stars Chicco Ct0.1/C1   July 16, 2007

I bought this stroller in Iceberg to match the Chicco Keyfit carseat. We live in a city and don't have parking, so we were looking for something halfway between an umbrella stroller and the heavier Chicco Cortina, which I wasn't sure that my wife could lift up our stairs.

The C1 has turned out to be a pretty good compromise from a weight perspective, and we love the styling.

I give this 4 stars out of 5 because we had several weeks of bafflement trying to get the carseat to lock into the stroller. It turns out the stroller we received was missing two matchbox-sized pieces of plastic that snap into the frame and hold the seat in place. Chicco USA generously sent us an entire new stroller when we finally figured out what was missing.

Step 2 to making the seat lock in successfully- you have to attach the tray table. This seems counterintuitive when you are using the stroller for an infant, but it's essential. The directions are totally inadequate- I am writing this review so that others can avoid our frustration.
