It's expensive, and Inglesina has become terrible about customer service. At this price, buy almost anything else.

4 out of 5 stars Near perfect   August 6, 2007

When researching strollers, I had a few expectations-
1. easy to fold
2. comfortable
3. good size basket
4. cup holder, as I carry water everywhere
5. flat recline
6. adjustable foot rest for baby's comfort

This stroller is extremely easy to fold. Just push the red button, lift, and it's folded. To unfold, there is a lever on the handle that you lift with your finger, and jerk the stroller open. It was awkward at first, but the more you use the stroller, the easier it becomes.

The seat is very well padded, and is comfortable to the touch. My baby has had no problems sleeping in it at all, even as a young infant. It would have been better with the coordinating bassinet, but our newborn slept fine with the seat fully reclined, even without a Snuzzler.

The basket is not easily accessible from the back, because the mechanisms for folding make it nearly impossible to fit anything in. But, it has ample storage when you use the basket from the sides. I'm able to rest the diaper bag across the handles, and use the basket for shopping storage.

The cup holder is alright. Doesn't fit every size cup, but can hold a water bottle well. If my cup doesn't fit, I usually just stick it in the diaper back, and it's still in front of me to access.

The seat reclines fully. Like the previous poster mentioned, it can be lopsided when you recline, but that's easy to correct.

The foot rest adjusts to come all the way up for when the baby is asleep. This is also great for when babies are smaller, and their feet don't have to dangle over the end.

In the upright position, the umbrella extends fully over the carriage to protect the baby from wind, sun, rain, etc. It's saved me a few times when rain came unexpectedly, and protected my baby from the elements.

Bonus is a snack tray for baby.

It's lightweight enough for every day use. Is able to be fit with car seats, and has a bassinet that you can purchase for newborns. Overall good construction, and worth every penny.

All in all, I suggest you really determine what matters most to you when looking for a stroller. And try them out before you buy!

4 out of 5 stars Great stroller but not perfect!   October 29, 2006

Zippy truly opens and closes with 1 hand which is wonderful. It is well constructed and sturdy...rides well. But has some drawbacks, first off, it doesn't have adjustable handles. I sometimes kick the wheels when walking (i'm 5' 8") plus can't really push with just one hand. Secondly, the adjustable back doesn't work perfectly. Occasionally, when I recline the baby, the seat locks into different positions leaving the baby lopsided but that is easily correctable. The third drawback is the undercart storage. It is nearly impossible for you to put a diaper bag or anything else in or get out without a struggle. The last complaint is Zippy's weight and bulkiness. It is quite heavy and difficult to carry when folded for any amount of distance. Kind of takes up a lot of space when stored in trunk but maybe not as much as other strollers. It is our first stroller and we have had it for 3 months now and use it regularly without incidence. Well made and super easy to open and close (which is why I bought the Zippy in the first place) and the baby seems really comfortable in it (we have a kiddopotamus snuzzler to support the baby's head and body). We might buy a lighter umbrella stroller later but the Zippy is probably the best stroller in its class.
