Worth Every Penny September 15, 2008 HRP (PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I went back and forth trying to decide if it was worth the cost of this adapter because it is pricey and the price did go up in the last couple of months. In the end, I decided to buy the product and it has been worth every penny. The adapter allows you to fit the infant car seat (see list of acceptable ones) and use the stroller as early as when the baby is only a week old. This was crucial for me in order to get outside and exercise after my c-section. It also helps save your sanity, in my opinion, to be able to get outside once a day during maternity leave. There is nothing more refreshing than going for a stroll after being cooped up all day in the house. The baby was perfectly comfortable in the car seat -- there is a styrofoam insert to place beneath the carseat which gives the perfect fit and the car seat was completely sturdy in position. I found no problems with positioning of the baby in the carseat as some reviewers have said (some said the baby's head tilts forward?), although I wonder if the BOB company added the styrofoam block to achieve a better fit after those reviews. In any case, you get more use out of the adapter than you would think because it also comes with a toddler snack tray that fits into the adapter -- this is another important thing for when the baby is older so really it is worth the investment in my opinion. Go for it and you'll love it. The adapter is a well-made, creative product.
Must have for infants... September 5, 2008 Takcus Nesbit (Houston, TX USA) The adapter really expands the functionality of the Bob. It's a little pricey, especially when you think about the actual cost of the materials involved. Although, the cost is offset by the length of time you will use it. It's a worthwhile addition.
Makes the BOB the only stroller you need September 4, 2008 Katherine H. Prevatt (Jacksonville, FL USA) We got it because we didn't want to get more than one stroller. It is easy to install (there are approximately 900 steps but they are all short). The stroller still folds nicely and fits in the trunk of my Camry. My daughter loves the stroller and I am so glad we got the adapter so we could use the BOB right away.
BOB single car seat adapter July 24, 2008 Colleen P. Chernock (houston, tx) Very easy to assemble and took less than 10 minutes! My Peg Perego car seat sat securely on the stroller.
