Fits my needs to a tee! October 7, 2008 katsachatter (Long Island, NY USA) This is my 3rd baby so I have learned a few things from the other two. If you need a stroller for shopping trips, get a snap and go (or the like). These travel systems aren't really practical for short trips to the grocery store. I bought this travel system for walks around the neighborhood. What impressed me about it, is that it has two clips to keep your carseat in place. I haven't seen that anywhere else. I love the clock/temp display. I can time my walks, or make sure that I am home in time for my other children. The clips, time/temp function.. all great attributes to this travel system. However if you are looking for portability.. go for a snap and go.
It's good and bad August 31, 2008 Balaji (CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this for our new born son. We used this for 4 1/2 months till now and found it good but at the same time very annoying. Why is it good? 1) Lots of storage spaces 2) Temperature/Time display 3) Car Seat is very comfortable 4) The stroller seat was good and useful till my son was 3 months old. 5) Assembling is very easy. Why is it annoying? 1) The car seat is too heavy. Forget about carrying it. 2) The travel system itself is huge. If I put it in my camry, it just leaves few space for grocery bags. If we go to costco and have to carry a box of grocery items, it will be too difficult. 3) The stroller is useless after 3 months. The seat works in two positions, flat and inclined. Flat: for new borns only. You will not be able to use it once your baby ages 4 months or old or if he/she grown 2 feet or more. You will start seeing the legs extended outside. This is fine. But the inclined position is totally useless: If you put your baby in the inclined position, your baby will be literarly hanging with just one belt which is going in between the thighs. It looks very dangerous as it looks like if the baby hits one button accidently the entire belt system will get unhooked. So we really hate to use it as a regular stroller. 4) It has too big wheels and so you will find very difficult to take it around aisles in shops. 5) The stroller is too big that we were not able to cover it completely with blanket when taking the baby outside in a windy day. Even if you cover it, there is no hooks where we can hook the blanket so always expect for the blanket to fly away. I hope you found this review useful. If you really like the carseat and ok with the stroller and its size, go for it. Thanks!
Love This Travel System! August 28, 2008 Kristina I love this travel system. It was easy to put together. The stroller is very sturdy and so comfortable for baby! Very easy to fold and unfold.
This is a stroller!! August 22, 2008 A. Thomas My wife's mother bought us this combo and this thing is fantastic. I know others have said it is a little big, but we do not think so. It operates beautifully and carries more stuff than anyone can imagine. It steers effortlessly and the build quality is top-notch. The removeable seat works as advertised and we even got an extra base for my car, which is the only way to go. The fabric wipes down and the whole stroller is just first class. My wife and I could not be happier, and we use this stroller a ton!!
Couldn't be happier August 11, 2008 Heather H (Indiana) Travel System arrived within a week...even with the Free Shipping option! The box was a little banged up, but everything was fine inside. I found the assembly to be very easy. It seems very safe and well built. I love the storage basket that folds down so you don't have to distrub a sleeping child. The seat back of the stroller is easily adjusted going from flat to upright with several options in between. The store compartments near the handle are nice and the clock/thermostat is an added bonus, although not necessary. It's a smooth ride, easy to navigate and very easy to collapse and open. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be about the off-gasing of the plastic. It was very stinky when it arrived and had to be aired out for several days...about gave my husband a migraine. After several days...and sprays with Fabreeze, the smell has disapated. I love the pattern too...very gender neutral and quite nice. Overall, I'm very happy with this Travel System and would recommend it anyone!
